So in my reviewing of old post and media videos
1) vinson did get the truck and trailer back as it was show in the video
2) the garbage trucks were searched right away and they are hand loaded trucks
3) DT was asked not to view the body but had provided the white dress to LE
4) The ID of the body was dental records vs a family member going to ID the body

I'll incorporate these into the Facts when I return this afternoon. I did think that not all the garbage trucks were searched right away ... some had already left for Rosemary Hill already, and I will find that hallucination this afternoon too.

On NG ~ Somer's mom is saying she thinks maybe after Somer ran ahead of the others she got tired and stopped to wait for the others. I'm confused since I'm not clear how far along in this mile walk home she broke away from the others and where the vacant house is in relation.

She sure has alot of theories

DT is quoted as saying AT walked her younger siblings home together every day.

In that recent article you posted, AB is quoted as saying she walked the kids home every day.

Then there is the "rumour" that says on the day Somer went missing, AB was unable to give the kids a ride because she didn't have room in her car for everyone. This has not been substantiated as fact.

Seems to me the story changes, depending on who/what/when/where.

Have there ever been as many contradictions in a murder case before? And not just regarding how the kids got home every day, but regarding pretty much every aspect of this case.

If they were worried about the garbage trucks so much "Time is of the essence" and these were hand load trucks then do you really think they were aloud the crush the garbage. Or did they ask them not to right away?

I think the ME requested the dental records to make a positive ID. I wonder if the body was in such poor condition that facial ID wouldn't have been possible, and they wanted to spare a family member the trauma of visual ID. Or... since LE at that time had no idea (IDK whether or not they do even now) who the killer is, they didn't want anyone (including family members) to have access to any possible evidence of COD.

As far as we know, LE still hasn't released COD to the immediate family.

How could he be "picked up" and "still down there looking" is what I don't get.
He obviously wasn't with her or he would have been asked to give a statement for the MPR and never was.

There are a few cases I have read that they used dental records for ID, Karissa Boudreau was one case (see was strangled). I think it may possibly be due to the numbers of children that are killed by their parents. In Karrisa's case it was her mother. That's the only reason I can think of, that is positive proof.

I was reading about the Meredith Kercher murder, for which Amanda Knox was convicted, and it struck me that it was the discrepancies in her statements in addition to Knox placing herself @ the crime scene by her own admission, that caused her to become a suspect in the murder.

ETA: Forgot to also say that it was also Knox offering her own "theories' as to what might have happened that added to LE's suspicion of her.

Someone has posted claiming to be neighbors with the kids that were walking with Somer. She said they split up at Gano/Debarry. The kids they know who were with her say they don't remember a fight. This person thinks that Somer's sister might not be telling the truth because she is afraid she will get in trouble.

How far is a 7 year old going to run? how long is she going to hide? If the father had her he would have notified the police by now I am sure! EVERYONE REMEMBER SHE IS 7!!!! The girl and boy across the street from me walked home from school with her, to gano/debarry then they go separte ways! She does not remember any fight with a friend! So is the sister placing blame on a friend?

So is the sister placing blame on a friend? Was the fight really with the sister and now this has happened and she doesnt want to get in trouble? Sorry but that is how kids think! There were already two different stories given the first one is that the kids were running home and Somer got left behind and then she never showed up at home

Then here comes some arguement with a friend and she hit her and took off? or was the arguement with the sister? As the friends already went the other way, I know this because they were at my house tonight! Even if the fight was with the sister, its not the sisters fault however she needs to tell exactly what happened. i know kids lie so they dont get in to trouble, i have two of them.

I was reading some of the comments @ that news site Cane is posting comments from, and one of the locals in OP posted that she doesn't understand how a kid can disappear like Somer did because she says that in addition to three crossing guards, police officers patrol the area in the morning & in the afternoon when the kids are going to & coming home from school. She posted that she sees them out there driving the routes every morning & every afternoon.

This is a perfect example of why "facts" is a relative term.

In video, Diena says the kids got a ride in morning and walked in evening (in nice weather). ~ @ 2:21 in Diena Thompson addresses the media

If it's true that police officers patrol the vicinity of the school every day when the kids are going to & from school, IMO someone would have to be either extremely reckless to snatch a kid off the street with cops in the area, or unaware that there are police driving up & down the streets @ that time, or it was someone Somer knew & would willingly go with.

Why somer walked home with the girl she was suppose to have had a argument with
Why SP was not concerned when the kids came home with out somer
But why did AT lie about the fight? Did she just not want to say she left somer behind that day.
Why did DT say ST jr stayed behind to talk to a friend that day?
