I hope we hear something soon from LE about the DNA evidence.I'm praying we hear of an arrest soon.

shopping for what for Halloween? Candy? Didn't Somer already have her costume? On a Monday night after school and work when everyone is fried?
And guys like to go shopping? :waitasec:

Well definatly my hubby does not really love shopping. But I am sure some guys do enjoy it.

I agree. I don't know where DT and her entourage she had there to speak to this reporter get off. If anything he tried to minimize the damage to her.

But, just between you me and the gatepost, I think she will look a whole lot worse than this in the public eye before it's all over with.

Hounds, I lived next to her for 2 years, I'm not at all surprised by that idea....AT ALL I tell ya.

I appreciate the different points of view regarding why SP was @ the house on 10/19.

We have all been trying to ascertain why he was there, and have only the statements of DT & SP to defer to, and now yet another version of why SP was there that day has come to light, that only further confounds the issue.

I have read the MPR so many times I practically have it memorized.

IMO, the reasons for SP being asked to wait @ the house on 10/19 that have been given as sworn testimony by both DT & SP in the narrative portion of the MPR to officers of the law seem to be in conflict with the reasons stated by the family friend @ that news site.

Why this particular information was not forthcoming prior to now is a mystery to me, as I hope it is a mystery to LE, as well.

IME (in my experience), statements made after the fact of the preliminary report that conflict with the original sworn statements tend to raise a red flag, not only in my eyes, but more importantly, in the eyes of LE.

This does seem Hinky, if Somer knew of this "shopping trip" wouldn't she skip home?

If it is a family tradition, wouldn't CP be involved?

Somer already had her costume.

Just from experience, when I shopped for halloween candy it was the same as a friend of mine said, "I buy what I eat or I don't want to eat." Kids didn't go or have a say.

This does seem odd, but I realize it comes from numerous comments on press articles of someone who posts after posts that claims to be a friend of DTs and also totally defends her (post after post), so I have no reason to disclaim what she says verses a neighbor, with a one line quote in the paper. IDK, but a planned family shopping trip without your significant other & with a guy friend does seems off to me.

can i post the date's of her marriages here? if so keep in mind that it also has the name's of the spouce's on it.

I heard a news reporter say (on video - can't remember which one now after so much time lol!) that Somer had a "go-go dancer" costume.

that is true. also in the report it stated that somer wore it a few day's before around the neighborhood. i found it very odd that a 7 year old would want to be a GO GO dancer, made me wonder where she would have got an idea like this. then i thought of the *advertiser censored* remark on CPC myspace page, maybe she saw it in something he was watching????

I appreciate the different points of view as well. as i said there is the possibilty both scenerios are true, both told to LE initially, we don't know as we are not privy to the interviews. I am sure at a time like this you would forget little details and that is why there is more then one interview, or you think later you forgot to tell the police something that you remember after the fact. We all have different opinions here, mine is that mom is not involved and has no fault here. I also feel that Somer's family are the victims of the person who did this to her, they have to live with missing her for the rest of their lives, and I feel she is being victimized further by having every tear, every word, what she wears, what she did or didn't do a year ago picked apart, articles which IMO have no bearing on what happened the day she went missing , which have only fueled the flames against her. I think in every case there will always be a loved one saying if only i had done this, this wouldn't have happened. I guess because i don't see anything but a distraught greiving mom when I see her in the media, I feel compelled to try to debunk or defend the comments made against her. I wish i had a name to bring out that we could all sleuth and try to move the topic elsewhere, but I don't. Until there is some concrete evidence that DT is somehow involved, my heart will believe in her innocence. Whether she can cry and sing at the same time is irrelevant to me. As far as her not making all the right choices in life, well i have made bad decisions in my life that i regretted.

Now way back when, did I read on the (what was the name of that bar again?), website that they featured go-go dancers. I remembered thinking, "Oh, so that's where the idea probably came from, her Mom".
I haven't heard of go-go dancers since I was a little kid and we watched "Hullabaloo!".

I did read a revamp of that costume later being described as a "genie" costume.
A dubious step up.

The only person victimized was Somer. DT was and is not a victim.

there are 3 marriages total. first one could be father of daughter that does not live with DT???

Oh, I agree Kermie. I think she got a call from the school. Maybe from the same councelor as last year. I think she was just worried that lady was about to call the hotline again. She was trying to get out ahead with some damage control. That's what makes it so awful. To think she did the unthinkable because she was worried about having to pay up $300-400 in after child care. Sickeningly ironic. You might even say "heinous".

ETA: Not to mention how it would look to ST custody case. You know how she hates to lose.

Didn't Sunshine post above that afterschool daycare would come to a bit over 900 per month for the three children--s/he posted a link to the school program.? Thats alot of money. I guess if ST(pappa) split the amount it might be more reasonable.

What would the ramifications be if the SW called and reported DT for whatever it is though s/he might call the authorities about??

As well as your thinking, unfortunatly this kind of clothing and attire is so pronounced in the media, such as music videos of pop stars that dress provocitivly and so on. Miley Cyrus dancing on a strip pole on at awards show is one example, admired by little girls everywhere as Hanna Montanna!there are stores in the shopping malls just for little girls that seem to sell grown up clothing in little girls sizes. Kind of off topic here but it is really disgusting that they make costumes like that in childrens sizes. I would hope that if a grown man is watching *advertiser censored* that he would do this in complete privacy without a chance of a child seeing it! \although i recall babysitting for a lady when i was 12, went to put a movie in the VCR, and it was a *advertiser censored*! i watched it for about a minute then i think i threw up! As far as CPC being critisized for watching *advertiser censored*, I think you would find the majority of men enjoy it, even if they wont admit it, might be sad but it's true. Now him bragging about it on MS i will agree is disturbing.

Rainy Daze: No she was never married to the father of the child she lost/gave up custody of.

What did think about TJ's short interview with Mary Justino?

T.J hart?I didn't know he did one.what did he say?I lost everything on my computer. It died.I tried to build everything back up again.I lost everything again today. So I'm just not saving anything any more for awhile. It's too irritating. But with with LE in the last article.I feel they are waiting on DNA evidence to come back to point to someone.I pray it does. They said they are working with Somers mother keeping her updated the whole way. That doesn't seem like they think she is a suspect to me.They say it's streamlined and focused. They say they won't talk so they do not jepordise the investigation. They mention they can get the PERSON(I took that as one suspect to them. But who knows.I felt they had something and was waiting on something.I noticed they did not if I read it right put a police # to contact.
