Investigators also say MacKrell appeared to chat with two young women at the gas station.
http://www.sun-sentinel.com/local/broward/fl-missing-man-anniversary-20160703-story.htmlIt's been almost a year since Steven MacKrell, a 25-year-old professional poker dealer, left a downtown Fort Lauderdale bar and then stopped in a Pompano Beach gas station for snacks.
He has not been seen or heard from since.
"We're going crazy trying to figure this out. We need people to step forward with information about what happened to Steven," said his mother, Astrid MacKrell.
She's planning a prayer service for July 30, on the one-year anniversary of her son's disappearance, hoping to once again bring attention to a case that has grown cold.
The Family of Stephen MacKrell, 25, have increased the reward to $10,000 for any information that leads police to the 25-year-old Fort Lauderdale man who vanished on July 30, 2015.
MacKrells daughter, just months old when he went missing, is now two, and often points to the pictures of her father on the wall at her grandmothers house.
