BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. -- A Brevard County man, who was originally sentenced to 315 years in prison for molesting a 14-year-old boy and then hiring a hit-man to kill witnesses, will soon be free. After a series of appeals, a judge ordered Thomas Spioch to be set free Thursday.

WFTV was told that Spioch will be moving to Orange County. His new address in Orange County hasn't been revealed, but it will become public since he will have to register as a sex offender.

The judge tried to place tighter restrictions on Spioch, but was bound by the law.

When Spioch was sent to prison in 1997, he wasn't supposed to walk free again. His original sentence would have kept him locked up until the 24th Century. Now, a court has ordered his release. Spioch’s original convictions and sentence were tossed out through appeals.

You know I have often thought that if these evil members of society were to locate in lets say the defense neighborhood, would it be harder for them to get out? or remain easier? Meaning---those who defend them don't have to live to close to them for the most part--

I truly wish that all of the prediators would either live on their own little island (hopefully coldest part of the world) never to see others again....they make me sick....:furious: We all know they don't change....and when they get out they continue to destroy their victims....:furious: Just doesn't seem right!

News of the impending release of the man who molested the 14-year-old boy between March 1992 and September 1993, has already led to one victim leaving Brevard. The victim, whom FLORIDA TODAY agreed not to identify, was a witness in the molestation case and was on Spioch's hit-list. Court records show Spioch paid the hit-man $2,500 as down payment for the planned killings, but the operation was foiled sheriff's office investigators.
"It is not right. I have to leave the state I was born in," she said earlier this week.

Sex Offender Seeks Place To Live
Trailer Park Home To Dozens Of Offenders Rejects This One

UPDATED: 5:13 pm EDT July 23, 2010

Spioch spent his first night at the Lakeshore Village mobile home park on North Orange Blossom Trail, but was told to leave today by the owner, Lori Nassofer. She told Local 6 she did not want to deal with all the publicity Spioch generated.
Spioch was working with his probation officer today to find another place to live, telling Local 6 "media coverage" was making that difficult.

Spioch Convicted Of Molesting Teen, Hiring Hit Man To Kill Witnesses

Good for them!!!! He should have difficulty---He created it---I hear Anartica is good this time of year....

Sentenced to 315 years, and already being released?

Wow, I guess it's true... time really does fly.

This is disgusting. This is why I believe in the Death Penalty for child rapists.

There is no releasing the dead.

Brevard County should be proud that decent people are leaving to make room for the released perverts.

Maybe the judge who released him should take him in.

This is insane...criminals really do have more rights than law-abiding citizens.

(respectfully snipped by me)

Media coverage isn't making your house hunting difficult...YOU DID THAT!!! I hope that parents in that community continue to 'make it difficult for you to molest and/or threaten their children"!!!! Although, he'll probably whine about that too...the parents won't let me get close to a child...they won't let me volunteer at the schools...I'm SOOOO mistreated as a sex offender....expect this guy to sue the state because HE is being wronged...

It breaks my heart that one of the victims had to move to get away from him...more disruption in their life due to this .

I'm still thinking an island far out to sea would be the PERFECT place for sex offenders to live. Just imagine, they wouldn't have to notify neighbors, they would be 'welcomed into their new community, WE would know where they were, and the police on the island would have a SHOOT TO KILL ORDER if any of them attempted to leave...Anyone know of an island for sale???:waitasec:
