''The sheriff said they have arrested a suspect in all of the shootings, identified as Keith Melvin Moses, 19. Mina said Moses has an extensive criminal history.

Mina said it's unclear if the gunman knew that the two members of the media worked for a news agency.

The other people injured in the shootings were being treated at local hospitals.

The names of the victims have not been released.

This is a breaking news story and will be updated.''

STATE OF FLORIDA - VS - MOSES, KEITH

Closed case from Nov 2021 for weed possession. I wonder if he upgraded his drug of choice and that triggered the murders.

The weed that he had was minimal compared to the fact that he already had gun charges, and was on juvenile felony probation. He'd just turned 18 in June of 2021. They are already beyond just having some weed. The driver jumps and runs when taken out of the vehicle, someone threw a firearm out of the vehicle, a firearms was found to be stolen, and they all had prior firearm offenses. This guy and another in the vehicle were on Juvenile Felony Probation. The third guy in the car, had been shot multiple times, just a week prior. It was only a matter of time.

I only searched Orange County. I didn’t see anything else for him on there. Where did this crime occur, do you know?

He was on Juvenile Felony Probation when they were picked up in 2021. They charged him for the weed as an adult, and then were going to have his probation officer get his probation violated. He may have gone back to jail after this incident on 11/2021. in Orange County. I read it from the post linked below.

Our hearts are broken.

Please pray for Brandon Williams and the entire Spectrum News 13 family as they mourn the loss of an employee who was shot and killed in Pine Hills while covering a homicide.

3 others were also shot, including a 9 year old girl who also died.

Horrific.

How did this guy not get sent up on parole violation AND a new, Federal Firearms Charge? He was already on Juvenile Felony Parole, and in a vehicle with other felons, and with a stolen firearm? A Federal Firearms conviction carries at least ten years in prison.

Wow. So, the suspect had not been arrested at the time? Or was he a POI in the shooting of the first woman? Then, he randomly shoots the news crew, and goes onto to killing another woman and her 9 year old daughter is in critical condition? And it appears that he had a significant prior criminal history.

And this all seems to be random. Just out shooting up the neighborhood?

I think it all happened very quickly. The news crew was reporting the first shooting and the mother and daughter are quite close as well. I’m thinking he was on foot.

The journalist has been named. Just starting his life out…
Killed while covering a homicide!? That’s a lot of death for one little area in a day :( so sad.
