I do agree, LambChop, that the falsity at the table makes for a Halloween horror when you consider its contrast to the hard facts of this murder case. I do not believe her attorneys would mislead the prisoner deliberately but her morale and or her obstructionism may require them to adopt certain coaxing blandishments that get them through their sessions with her. We know from her refusal when Jose Baez obtained that early deal for her and from her attitude when Terence Lenamon went to her cell that she is not cooperating. We also know that from Mr. Baez's statement in December that she is a liar. She had deceived law enforcement and her parents but she continued to deceive him and then the remains such as they were ! gave the lie to statements she had made to him.

If JB doesn't have ulcers, high blood pressure, heart palpitations, a nervous breakdown, and maybe even a serious case of hives, it will be a miracle. I know he willingly signed on for this, and even went into the situation all giddy and bubbly like a middle-school girl with a crush on a gorgeous older athletic hunk, but he must be wringing his hands late at night when all is quiet. What to do? What to do? If he pulls out, KC wins their battle of wits and stubbornness. His school-girlish crush on KC has to have evaporated somewhat by now, and I'm sure he's seeing his Oscar slowing backing away, away.... as he realizes his title as the only hispanic attorney who fell wildly for a spoiled, selfish, murderous brat is drifting quickly from his reach.

Ah, Neptune, it's played its illusive tricks on KC and JB, and methinks the guy feels rather trapped about now. Actually, I think the noose tightened around his neck on Dec. 11th and hasn't let up. Never did he think is his wildest dreams that his KC is the real KC everyone else was able to see from the moment she dragged OCSDs through the offices at Universal Studios, the land of dreams.

AKSleuth, That was very well said! I think your eloquent observation captured so much of the essence of Prisoner and JB and the quagmire he now finds himself in with her.

It will be interesting to watch where his career will go when he finally shakes himself free of this. Will he ever manage to shake himself free of this? I wonder?

The day he called her a liar, on National TV (no less), was a big day for me. He may have been captivated by her socio-pathic charm initially, but when he announced that... something BIG had changed for him, IMO!

I sure hope that today's doc's show that the SA took pics of the tape around Caylee's skull that turned out well. IMO they did do this even if the FBI couldn't check the tape for the heart sticker after duting for fingerprints....a picture is worth a thousnad words....as well as all of the forsenic team that was at the crime scene who also saw this on the tape. I think it dosen't matter if they have proof elsewhere even though it would have been better that the FBI didn't mess up destroying it before they also took pics of it. I truly believe there are photos elsewhere of this.

I hope this all made sense just know...not quite all the way awake yet & in the AM my fibro fog brain is at it's worst & my eyes are still blurry from the surgery. :biggrin:

Sitting here with my mouth hanging open reading these documents. Tuba, remember when you said the Anthony's reputation would be swirling further down the drain?

Well I'm only on PDF section 2 from this document dump and they have already managed to sling mud at nearly every reporter thats covered the case, (inc. Nancy Grace, Kathy Belich, Jessica Donofrio, etc.), John Morgan, message boards including this one, Richard Grund, Roy Kronk. Just wait till you see what they tried to bring up on these people.

Oh it's a MUST read. They certainly are not going to be gaining any supporters with this load of documents.

The December 20 program is a good review of where matters stood after the identification of the remains but it is not the footage where Baez singles the prisoner out as a liar. That program segment, which may have been one week later, is conversational between him and Geraldo. It didn't seem like remote hook-up. Jose is seated and at the moment when he refers to his client as a liar, he appears both dismayed and disgusted.

Among the unusual revelations uncovered in documents released Tuesday morning is that Cindy Anthony wanted private detectives to look for a live Caylee as recently as two months ago. :crazy:

One of the most bizarre revelations is that months after the Anthonys held Caylee's funeral service, Cindy still wanted her private investigator to search for a live Caylee, and Cindy and her private investigator exchanged possibly hundreds of emails concerning how they could dig up dirt about some of the key people in the case, including bounty hunter Leonard Padilla, meter reader Roy Kronk and Jesse and Richard Grund.

The Anthonys' private investigator, Dominic Casey, emailed photos to Cindy to show to Casey of possible Zenaidas and there were a lot of computer searches for Zenaida Gonzalez, the name of the woman Casey says disappeared with Caylee.

One of Cindy's emails might come back to haunt her daughter in the Zenaida Gonzalez defamation lawsuit. Cindy told one of the sheriff's investigators last October that private eye Dominic Casey was not working for the defense team, but recently the private eye testified under oath that he was in his attempt to avoid being questioned under oath by Zenaida's attorneys. :clap:

This worries me though I know the DA has plenty of evidence, but it gives Baez a good argument over the handling of evidence! :shakehead: This really goes to show that CA has not come to terms that Caylee is gone & her daughter murdered her. How much DNA evidence does CA need to wake up to the reality of the truth?? I know that is asking for a lot & IMO it's all of the possible medications she has been prescribed by her DR's! The medication is not letting her mind face the truth....:shakehead:

A lot of these docs though I've only glanced & read a little bit of some of them....have bringing me to tears.....:cry: I keep thinking about Caylee singing "You Are My Sunshine" & all of the beautiful pictures of a bright happy, loving, smiling little angel.

I have a tiny bit of knowledge about this subject. Let's just say a lab would hope to not have contimination on a sample but it can happen and that is why they got the profiles from all techs handling the evidence. It's not great but it's not a deal breaker either.

The positive that I see from this is the only DNA on that particular piece of tape was the technicians and no one elses. To me, it would be more of an issue if you had the technicians dna plus another persons. KWIM.

ETA: We also now know who & why J. Thompson is on the witness list...KC came into his store on June 9th to look at buying a LCD monitor for her PC...he stated in the transcript, that he again seen KC & Caylee about a week later (possibly the 16th!) walking out of a different store...told Caylee cause he thought she looked upset about something that if her mom came back into the store to buy the monitor that he would give her a beenie baby.

The documents also included a sworn statement from a Maitland man who said he saw Casey Anthony and Caylee together the day after Father's Day 2008, which is the day Caylee was last seen by the Anthony family.

James Thompson said he saw Casey Anthony walking ten feet in front of Caylee at a Casselberry Walmart.

"To think I was one of the last people to see Caylee alive," Thompson said in his statement. "It bothers me constantly."

Thompson, who is on the state witness list, would not comment on his statement.

Thank you for all of the new information, Angel. As for the suprise characterization of his client as a liar, quite a few WebSleuths remember it clearly so it is not worth your time & effort to unearth it. You already did a good deal and found way more than I did at YouTube. The only value in watching it again is that his remark to Geraldo registered such a change in his attitude toward his client. Personally, I remember every nuance of that exchange and can replay it in my mind any time. Maybe it was "pulled" from the At Large archives due to its prejudicial nature and never made the transfer to YouTube.

Tuesday, prosecutors in the Anthony investigation released more than 1,000 pages of documents related to the case.

Brad Conway said the evidence he intends to release contains information the state "should have released today, but didn't."
