I found something interesting...

On May 21 1998 20 year old Jack Libardo Jimenez goes missing from Mastic Beach. http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/j/jimenez_jack.html

According to https://identifyus.org/cases/full_report/2925 on May 20 1998 a young man was found in a brentwood sump.

What gives? Is one of the dates off by a day? Could the brentwood boy be Jack or is his disappearance related to the Brentwood boy's murder. There is a real similarity between the two in my opinion

BTW the description of Brentwood boy claims a 6 month interval between death and discovery, so it seems unlikely to be jack. But considering jack went missing THE DAY AFTER the body was discovered, I would theorize he know something about the murder and may have been killed in order to keep from giving info. I am still perplexed by the Hands of Gold Jewelry angle, and I wonder if the jewelry on the baby/mother is connected to this store.

Just want to revisit Sugar bear for a minute as possibly the only sighting of the LISK:

Now that one is real old, but four sounds like a SK at work. Now this is from 2000, originally brought to attention by Emre, the Eve Brown case (she was from LI). Her bones were found in a dumpsite with other victims as well.
The killers other dump site? Remember the AC investigation brought the dicks to Howard Beach, where they went to Lenny's clam bar asking questions.

Eve Brown worked at the Queens-Nassau Nursing Home in Far Rockaway. Sugar Bear's torso was also found on Beach 63 st and John Valentine was found in Rockaway as well. Not a coincidence that the killer used the name Mickey Mouse, I strongly suspect either he or his mother or wife was a disney fanatic.

Again, a man and woman found but the police don't believe they are related. This is a rehash of what happened in 2000 with Jane and John Doe. Anyone release the killer was still busy? It says the man was homeless and his death was non criminal, but I'm not so sure I believe it considering the LISK's MO of male and victims found within short times of each other. Another thing, maybe it's just the same sketch artist but the sketch looks a lot like the Jane Doe sketch from gilgo.

Now the two bones found on beach in the 1990's...Dune Road looks an awful lot like OP on the map but further east toward the hamptons. The bone on Halsey Neck and even more east. I can't help but wonder if there is another graveyard further east in the hamptons along Dune Road. OR maybe bones line the entire barrier islands, and they are one long graveyard all the way down?

Looks like a similar spot to Eve Brown graveyard. Does anyone have any info on the body who was dumped at Gilgo in almost the exact spot as one of the g4 but years earlier? It's earlier in this thread and truth spider claimed it had nothing to do with gilgo because of his "information" but he refused to share. I sure don't miss that guy. This is the best thread here by far, there is awealth of info in these pages.

The simplest thing DNA can tell you is whether someone is male or female.

It's been around since 70's.. Dennis Rader case was the first case where DNA was used forensically, unfo it was expensive back then.

By 90's DNA was a common knowledge, and samples were collected and stored regardless of whether they are examined or not..

In short; saying "The body was so badly decomposed the authorities could not determine the gender of the victim" is the long form of saying "I got better things to do"..

EDIT: And gender identification doesn't even need DNA technology. All you need is a microscope to see the X and Y chromosomes.

Those bones found on the Beach in 2002 and 1994 really make me curious. That's a long time frame. And why would a human bone be on a beach, Dune Road is so geographically to Ocean Parkway. Why so many beaches? Lattingtown as well. Why the killers preference for dumping on roads next to the beach?

Investigators describe the man as white, possibly Hispanic; between 35 and 45 years old; 140-150 lbs.; between 5’8” and 6’ tall; short, dark hair; and wearing a khaki-colored, short-sleeved V-neck knit shirt with black trim; a T-shirt with an Atlantic City emblem on it; size 30-32 Levi blue jeans; and a blue bathing suit. He was not wearing shoes or socks and had been dead for about two months, according to autopsy reports. Cause of death: murder. The man’s teeth were decayed, and about eight were missing. But there were fingerprints.

Here is ANOTHER male victim from 2009 with a bathing suit under his pants this time in Queens! "Blach short-sleeved button-down shirt with stripes, GAP jeans size 31X30 with yellow swim trunks underneath, black socks."

That's a very good question LL.

My best guess (and it's only a guess) is that these victims were homeless and were murdered during the warmer months. One trick for trying to stay clean when you don't have access to a regular shower or bathroom facilities, especially if you are living outdoors, is to wear a bathing suit under your clothes so you can strip down and jump in a fountain/creek/lake/pond/pool whenever the chance to do so arises. I found one guide for getting by houseless suggests finding public showers at public beaches - they are free but cold. I wonder if there are similar bathing facilities where these men went missing from? It's a long shot but I just can't readily come up with any other reasons.

The two male victims I looked at are wearing bathing suits in the months of March and April. Its to cold to go swimming outdoors in NY. The link might be indoor swimming. Where??

Good catch, Wolf Hill Road man had gunshot wounds to the head and was wearing an AC shirt. His teeth are messed up real bad, so he does look like he was living on the fringes of society. Why would he have a bathing suit in the winter, if the "at least two months deceased" is an accurate description. I wonder if he'd been there longer, if not an indoor swimming pool is the only thing that makes sense unless he;s just wearing bathing suit as underwear for some reason. I'm thinking a Y or something or he was at a residence with an indoor pool, which doesn't make too much sense just considering how badly messed up this dude teeth are, but I suspect that's from methadone.

Lindsay, post#243. A boy was found 2/5/2005 at Rockaway Beach. He was found in a bag and wrapped in a Disney blanket. LE named him John Valentine. He was never identified. Now think about the mother and child found on OP. Maybe hes her son. Maybe thats why the mother is not in NAMUS. There was something about her profile LE did not want released. I always felt LE knew who she was.

Was the head never recovered? I do believe there is a connection between the boy and toddler. Think about it, a boy wrapped in a blanket...a toddler wrapped in a blanket...both on the barrier islands, the boy where sugar bear's torso was dumped. Frankly I think the graveyard isn't confined to Jones Beach and it stretches all the barrier island. This guy's been busy. Does the time frame match up? Do you think the mother/toddler were dumped in 2005? Was the boy decapitated? A Disney blanket...and remember the killer used Mickey Mouse for the burners. I think his mother is probably a disney collector.
