Ah ha...that's what they're doing. Trying to blind our lovely camera!

I think that the webcam guy can just move the camera up or down the street a little...as long as the light isn't shining directly into the camera lens, it won't blind the camera.

I seriously think its a security system with outside cam, probably linked to PC (like someone else said), with a digital recorder. Since they live in a homeowners assoc n-hood, I doubt they could install a spotlight that shines directly into the street ... think about the people who live behind our addiction - that light might be pointed directly into someone's living room or bedroom (assuming there is someone living across the street from them).

Remember when Cindy went in all the neighbors yards looking for cameras in trees? My guess is that they are going to spy on their neighbors.
