The saddest part...noone is surprised.

What's even sadder is that after a couple of days, everyone will forget about this one too, just like Orlando...and Paris...and Turkey...etc...

People will get back to the Real Housewives of Wherever, and football and blah, blah, blah...Until the next one...and the next.

Insert head in sand. And again, Wash. Rinse. Repeat.

It's truly sickening.

Unfortunately the only thing that will stop this will probably end the world.

It feels like that sometimes.

And you're likely right because we've been at war with each other since the beginning. :(

I was just about to post this same thought.

How quickly the world forgets.

Really heartbreaking. Every time.

The no-go zones are where French LE and regular French people are cautioned not to go. The occupants of these zones can go anywhere in France, the EU, or wherever they have visa and passports to travel, AFAIK. Did you even read the link I posted? Is there a link to the Julie Banderas story you are quoting? And I posted a link from Europe, not America, to back it up. I never mentioned anything about keeping people of certain religions anywhere locked up.
Of course I read the link you posted.

I think The Telegraph is one of the worst, tabloidy 'newspapers' in the whole entire world. I don't think I am alone in that thinking.

The whole issue of the bogus "no-go zones" was all over the news some time ago. I prefer The Guardian as a British Newspaper. I wonder if they reported on the no-go zones?

What everyone is trying to explain, is that 'no-go zones' Do not exist. Period.

Words from the President of France, Francois Hollande

France as a whole is under the threat of Islamic terrorism. We have to demonstrate absolute vigilance and show determination that is unfailing.

Therefore I have decided to first maintain a high level of police forces, with 10,00 military staff, as well as our police forces. I have also decided to ask military volunteers to join and help our police forces.

I have decided that the state of emergency which was supposed to end on July 26 will be extended by three months.”

Nothing will lead us to give in to our will to fight against terrorism. We are going to strengthen our efforts in Syria and Iraq against those who are attacking us on our very soil.”

It's refreshing to see a President put a name on what has happened, Islamic terrorism.

The UN has joined international condemnation of the attack, calling it “cowardly and barbaric”.

This Summer had Orlando, Istanbul, Baghdad, Dallas, and now Nice.

The Summer of Hell. :(
Hate, rage, violence and death. Beyond depressed. I feel for everyone who lost someone and had to witness this insanity.

The destruction of Syria. No place for those people to live in their country. There are millions without homes all over the planet. There is so much hate n this world. Hate often disguised as religion or fake outrage such as racism in America.

Here's What We Know So Far

A large truck has ploughed into crowds celebrating Bastille Day in the southern French city of Nice.
The crash, which left 80 people dead including several children and 18 seriously injured, is being treated as a terrorist attack.
The driver of the truck was shot dead by police. They are trying to determine if he had accomplices.
Authorities said the man had been firing on the crowd as he drove, and that the truck was loaded with weapons and grenades.
Witnesses said the driver was “zigzagging” so he could hit as many people as possible. It was reported that he drove into the crowd for 2km at a speed of about 50km/h.
Unconfirmed reports in French media said an ID card belonging to a 31-year-old resident of Nice who had dual French-Tunisian nationality had been found in the truck.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
François Hollande, the French president, described the attack as a “monstrosity” and said soldiers would be deployed to support gendarmes and police, particularly at the country’s borders. He said the attack was “terrorist in nature” and vowed France would always be stronger than the fanatics that want to attack her.
The country’s state of emergency, which was due to expire on 26 July, is to be extended for three months.
The interior minister, Bernard Cazeneuve, said: “We are at war with terrorists who want to strike us at any cost and who are extremely violent.”
Hollande is on his way to Paris from Avignon to chair an emergency security and defence meeting at 9am on Friday. He will then head to Nice. Cazeneuve is in Nice.
World leaders, including Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, have condemned the attack. Donald Trump has postponed the announcement of his running mate.

ETA Nice Hospitals have launched an appeal for blood donations in the wake of the attacks

So sorry that you feel that way.
It's not going to be the end of the world.
The world is vast.
The time is now, in my opinion, to stop pussy footing around and recognize that there is a very evil uprising trying to take over our civilized way of life.
Responding to this evil with "talks from politicians, who refuse to take action" could lead to serious Chaos.
Seriously.

The civilized world will be beyond pissed off at their leaders tomorrow morning.
My opinion, only.

People are becoming numb and desensitized and are seeking escape. I had friends who forgot about Orlando two weeks later and they frequent gay clubs even. Not sure what to say anymore. I doubt no one cares I think they are living in denial.

Sadly, this has become our reality.
I don't know what/if anything can be done to put an end to this.

I find myself apologizing to my children with each of these attacks. For this hate-filled world we have created for them.

What is it that you suggest can be done?

Lip service. He's second only to Merkel in creating this disaster.
