I wonder if the pastor that was robbed was asked about a vehicle leaving after the shooting.

Here's the article that said it was found at the crime scene--I linked the wrong one, originally--sorry!

It still says:

A bullet recovered at the crime scene where a 1-year-old boy was killed will be tested ballistically against a .22-caliber handgun found in a pond two miles away, Glynn County Police Chief Matt Doering said at a news conference Thursday afternoon.

There were 4 shots fired during the incident, it could have been one of the other 3 bullets that were found. It doesn't say they found THE bullet used to kill him at the scene, just a bullet.

That's also the article I linked.

It says both:

1)
A bullet recovered at the crime scene where a 1-year-old boy was killed will be tested ballistically against a .22-caliber handgun found in a pond two miles away, Glynn County Police Chief Matt Doering said at a news conference Thursday afternoon.

2)
Doering said Thursday investigators found one bullet in Santiago's body, it's now at the crime lab, along with the gun police believe was used in the crime.

I think they are talking about 2 different bullets.
1 they found at the scene. 1 found in little Antonio's body.

Just incase some of you missed this last week, this video today shows DE's sister and aunt when they lied to media, plus their mugshots.

A bond hearing for DE & DL which was to be next Friday (4-5-13) has been cancelled.

Great video. At the 1:53 mark on the video Sabrina is seen avowing her brother DE's innocence. At the 1.00 mark on the video is Katrina Elkins (DE's Aunt) interview before her arrest and if you watch when she states he was at her house all day, she literally cannot keep a straight face and she rolls her eyes at the exact moment she says "he was at my residence."

Doering states they know exactly how, when and who disposed of the gun which further cements my belief that LE has video of that disposal.

More likely the police have the video of the relatives talking about how the gun was disposed of and then they found it.

This is Associated Press article for today.

When asked directly whether it's possible the shooting was a part of a gang initiation, Doering wouldn't go that far, saying investigators are exploring "whether gang involvement is part of this."

Police are concerned about the safety of witnesses in the emotionally charged case, the chief said. However, he pleaded with people who have information to come forward, and to put aside their fears in the interest of justice.

"We know there are still witnesses out there, people who have information," Doering said.

4 shots fired.

1 bullet in Mom's leg.
1 bullet in Antonio.

That leaves 2 bullets.

The one that was shot into the ground to scare her.
The one that grazed her ear.

Either one of those could have been the one they found. My guess is the one that grazed her ear. :twocents:

When we thought this couldn't get any worse...a Brunswick Commissioner has been charged.

if it wasn't for the baby that was killed, this would be better than any reality tv show. i can't look away.

Brooks stepped between them and prevented the officer from speaking with the mother, officials said.

Holy sheesh politics AND political correctness has apparently been over-ruled in Brunswick GA.

This isn't all that unusual. Okay the baby shooting is extreme, but the rest of it?

Course those that realize it are called "ignorant". Those that have no clue are called "enlightened".

WTH! This sounds like the man was a felon before the bribery and racketeering charges. Does Brunswick allow felons to serve as commissioners?

From this article below:

There is also a question of whether Brooks ever had his civil rights restored after a felony conviction for getting a credit card in someone else’s name and charging more than $2,000 on it.

Is John Henry Brooks a relative of the Elkins?

I wish the media would check that out.
