In my opinion, it would be highly unusual for LE to locate their vehicle so quickly after taking a suspect in custody without being given information by the suspect but that is just me. I agree with the poster upthread that speculates we will probably know soon where the missing couple is.
 
so glad to see he is in custody. hopefully now he will tell them where bud and june are!
 
I imagine he's got a whole bunch of hot lights and angry cops glaring down on him right about now.

He doesn't seem like the career criminal type. Hopefully he will tell them where the Runion's are and how in the hell he ever came up with this idea.

A lot of ponds in Georgia also have gators.

My brother has had three large gators that came up from the creek to his ponds.

I don't think the gators got the Runions though.

I think this is where Towns tried to hide their vehicle.

The broadcaster said that LE had found the Runion's car in a shallow pond and the couple was not in the vehicle. I think that's how he put it.

me too.........maybe he DOES have them stashed somewhere...............fingers crossed.
 
Thank goodness, he is in custody. I think Jay left the Runion's elsewhere, and tried to dispose their vehicle.

I don't think he is the sharpest knife in the drawer!
 
Ugh. Was watching the live feed, the presser is already over, but they kept the camera on- heard sheriff say- nobody likes to think their child could do this, don't think the father was involved.
 
If they are giving an update.......then they found them. No way would they stop searching in order to have a chit chat with the local reporters.
 
It's still saying the sheriff is expected to give update on the 13wmaz.com website.

I clicked the link and the sheriff was saying thanks our and moved away. Then there was chit chat amongst the reporters. Reporters thanKing the sheriff for his hospitality, and what I posted above. A couple of woman were loud and I didn't here some things he said. They cut the feed when someone said "you didn't hear this from me ...
