GUILTY GA - Lori Arrowood, 42, Liberty County, 25 Sept 2010

I don't know anything at all about this family which would indicate problems between mother and daughters, but it would be helpful to know when Mom was last seen by someone other than the 17 year old.

Maybe Lori intended to leave in her car but was sidetracked by someone waiting outside before she got in the vehicle. I've had some weirdo neighbors. I wonder if any of her neighbors have been unusually attentive since her hubby has been gone? Any elderly neighbors with grown sons living in their basement?

I agree with you 100%, but that just isn't usually how it works so I'm surprised...pleasantly. When a child who already has special needs is diagnosed with cancer, or needs emergency open heart surgery that is definitely something that will endanger their father as he worries about his family. Yet, it definitely takes more than 48 hours to convince someone to arrange to have them brought back.

It's possible there is more to this that we are unaware of. Either way, I am thrilled they are acting quickly. Hopefully she gets more media coverage as well.

I think it may be due to the fact that there is a minor, disabled child at home who needs a parent.

I must have missed the article that said she had a disabled child at home. I thought it was her older daughter, who was disabled, and no longer lives with her mother. Maybe I am mistaken though.

Sounds like LE has already started some serious searches. I agree with the previous poster who said there is more to this than the media knows. I think LE has reason to believe she met with harm.

What do they think happened to her so close to home?

I would love to be jaded and think maybe she staged this... Tiffany Tehan... Jennifer Willbanks... maybe to get her husband home. Especially because I have seen no pleas to "let Lori come home" I have only seen pleas TO Lori herself to "please come home."

However, I don't have a good feeling about this one, I'm just not sure what I would think happened so close to home.

This stands out immediately however.

A friend doing some repair work says Arrowood was last seen about 12:30 Saturday afternoon at her home.

Not according to her daughter's facebooks. It is the other daughter who doesn't live with Lori that is disabled. Unless BOTH of Lori's children are disabled, which is possible. I have not heard anything saying that her 2nd daughter is not. I just know that her other daughter is physical challenged and does NOT live with Lori as she "flew in" today.

A 17 year old at home, even IF she is disabled...who needs a step father that has been married to her Mom for a year? There is no way that is reason for the military to bring a spouse home. :twocents:

It takes more than a 17 year old without a parent to bring someone back from deployment. :twocents:

According to a posting by LT on her FB page, a detective tried to get them to turn on the GPS through Verizon, but was unable to do so without a warrant.

Additionally, she has a tattoo on her upper thigh that is visible on a couple of pictures that she has posted. I am not sure if I can post that pic here though, since it is not a public photo album.

I wonder if there is a way to have people sign something when they sign their contract...giving permission for the cell phone provider to do this. If they ever go missing that the provider can turn on the GPS...a bit like the donor Yes or No when you get your driver's license. It's infuriating to me that they can't use that technology...WHY is it there? :banghead:

Did you happen to notice how long her husband's deployment was supposed to be??

MsFaceious, As times go by and more info becomes available, we can draw more accurate conclusions. I think you are correct in your posts about her older daughter not living at home. Also, because someone said that they were trying to get her husband of one year home from deployment, doesn't mean the military is accommodating this request. jmo

something is a bit off...Have you all noticed ? The 17 yr old I dont think is the physically challenged one. The one whom was flying into savanah is I do believe. I have seen many cases where you can not get a news outlet to touch them. This one is different but how?

UPDATE: Soldiers Join In Search For Missing Military Wife In Liberty County

*snip*
This afternoon, members of the Georgia Search and Rescue team are searching the area. In addition, more than 100 soldiers from Ft. Stewart are involved. Arrowood's husband, Sgt. Nate Arrowood who's in the 3-7 INF, 4th Brigade, has been in Iraq for about two months. He and his wife married about one year ago. *snip*

I haven't gone through all of facebook...does anyone know if she had any stickers on her vehicle??? "Military wife" or "half of my heart is in Iraq" or even military access things. Anything that would identify her as a military wife with a deployed husband?

Now THAT, I could see possibly making her some sort of target. Someone getting ideas from that would be much more reasonable to me. Seeing her at the store, following her, going back later.

People are very protective of military families or law enforcement families in many cases. So yes, they will get the coverage. She still doesn't have a lot of media attention. It is just a few local stations covering the story.

I do think something more is known... I think there are a couple of possibilities but that the police have a theory in mind as to what happened. I think that also has to do with why "Arrangements are being made to bring her husband home from his deployment overseas." If they really do bring him back, I think they either believe he needs to be here to plan a funeral or he needs to be here in order for her to return. :twocents:

Thanks Amanda! I wasn't sure if we were permitted to post those pics.

I meant no disrespect...I just feel really strongly theres more know than what were hearing.

I didn't think you meant any disrespect, I was just explaining that I feel that is why she is getting the media attention without much effort.

I agree with you that there is something we don't know. I believe they either suspect she died close to home or they suspect that she staged this to get her husband brought home. I unfortunately, do not think this is staged. Given the searches, I think that they don't either.

I don't have a good feeling about this one... but I do think she's probably fairly close. I think if they knew she'd been seen getting in a car they wouldn't be looking so close to home.

I have a question for anyone, Lori and her husband have been married for about a year. Did Lori live in the Hinesville area and met her husband there or did they move to Hinesville after they got married? TIA

Whoa, alot more info here

Robinson says another friend made phone contact with Lori around 1:20 in the afternoon on Saturday.

"She was coming to the house to pick Lori up. She was going to take her somewhere to loan her money. They were going to the bank,” stated Robinson.

When the friend arrived at the house, Lori never answered the door—that’s when the friend called Lori on her phone.

"Lori told the friend she was in the house. According to the friend, Lori sounded like she wasn't feeling well and the friend asked if she was crying. Lori said ‘no, she was in pain’ and that she was going to take a bath but told the friend to go run some errands and come back and they would leave,” stated Robinson.

That was the last time the friend, according to Robinson, had any contact with Lori. Now loved ones are wondering where she is and if she’s okay.
