AS's father Herbert Greenberg

--I totally understand the jury's verdict and respect it but will appeal it.
--Rusty was like a son to me.
--A delusional murderer took Rusty from us.
--Grief overcame AS. She may not have said the right things (paraphrased).
--Children were devastated when AS was wrongly jailed for murder.
--To remove AS from the children for any length of time will be devastating.
--Society will not benefit.
--Your honour please give a sentence that does not include incarceration.

She's going to elocute? Oh, after Clegg makes his closing statement. Clegg is going to cry???

Thought I'd missed it!!
AS almost DIED? Is that true?

A late good morning to you peeps. I read all the comments thinking it was over!!

Clegg is about to start crying?? I got here just in time!!

Oh brother. She won't even speak. Letting Clegg do it for her!

Is it that hard? She can't even express any sorrow herself? :maddening:

Clegg is speaking now.

Says he is about to start crying so he'll talk about some mundane legal stuff.

<is this lawyer for real?>

WHAT? Did he really ask to create new law for her? :waitasec:

Those children need their father too but Andrea thought it better to have an affair with her unstable boss instead of thinking of those children. Now it's all about them? These witnesses are getting under my skin.

OT - Hope everyone is doing well. I've been watching the trial but haven't been posting, I had 2 heart attacks and a major hematoma from the heart cath/stent 3 weeks ago and am just now getting back into things. I'm almost back to pre heart attack energy level now. One day at a time!

oh wow, Candy, I hope you are ok. Heal quickly!!

I think she is going to speak after this attorney finishes cryin....errr...making his argument.

She can't afford any more perjury charges, best keep that mouth closed.
With that said... the fact that she chooses not to express any type of sorrow is true to her character... sadly!

Clegg just said that he has never seen a system that was so hell bent on destroying this woman's life.

imho.....the penalty for these convictions shouldn't "merge" because they show how she never chose to tell the whole truth at any point in the investigation of her husbands death. The convictions are separate because she had multiple opportunities to do so and didn't.
