I remember friends from church, Who knew that their child who had passed was with Jesus, And yet, when they tried to take that casket out of the church the father grabbed it and would not let it go. He was in agony. Now I know not everyone grieves the same way, But the loss of a child is soooo much. The darkest of what a person could face.



I just have not heard one person talk about either of these two mourning.

Still trying to catch up, on page 45 at the moment, but I wanted to say I was one of those "guests" following along. I can't log in at work but wanted to follow the hearing.

After hearing the descriptions of the body, my heart is broken just thinking about what that baby went through! This horrible scene with audio keeps replaying over in my mind. I wish I could make it stop.

It seems like more of us here keep replaying the "video" more that the mother or father. How can they sit so calmly when being told what that baby went through, is beyond my comprehension. As a mother and grandmother, I would have been hysterical, and I'm not one to wear my emotions on my chest.

I think he will try to use it to his advantage: what kind of sick *#%}* would do that if he knew his child was dying? He will have character witnesses from his church say he would never do that, so in his mind it will help his case.

As I said before we all know he's no genius. He obviously has a higher opinion of his intelligence than the evidence shows.
 
I am kind of wishy washy on the mom. I do think I would want to hold my dead baby. As far as seeing the dad, I am not sure how I would react or say since I have never been in that situation.

He had to know that his computers, both home and work, and cell phone would be taken. Even one that doesn't even keep up with cases closely knows that just by watching normal tv shows.

If he had preplanned all of this out it seems like to me he would have made sure he was either busy doing HD work all day, texting someone and mentioning Cooper in a positive way or emailing someone at the church. That way it would appear like he was a good guy just going about his day at work.

So instead of it convincing me it was premeditated .....for the very first time ...that part just didn't add up with the preplanning. In fact it has left me very puzzled.

Because, like Jonathan Richardson (who tortured and Killed Teghan Skiba), he did what he wanted to do and nothing was going to stop him from doing it.

I believe there was a sexual aspect in RH's sick mind. Sexting, going to websites of death pictures, getting involved with minors. Something dark in his mind connected pleasure with pain. He thought he would outwit LE; once he convinced himself of that I doubt anything would have stopped him from going forward.

Who takes selfies of their penis while their baby convulses in a hot car? Answer - sexual sadist.

Up thread, someone mentioned that LH may have been groomed by this psycho. Maybe so. Maybe she has a dependent personality, but if she knew he was going to murder her son, which I believe is the case, she's antisocial (sociopathic) just like him. It's one thing to be a doormat, but murdering your kid for financial reasons? (I don't think she had any clue before the crime he was cheating again. I think she was going to get dumped eventually, but they both deserve the death penalty for THIS.)

I've been thinking about that too... possibilities that come to my mind are that
1) They KNOW her position and are building a case, don't want to jump the gun
2) Statue of limitations on murder/conspiracy to commit murder will allow them to wait until Ross is convicted (to avoid the two of them pointing fingers at each other and/or pleading out to testify)

I think once they have had the time to comb through all the evidence there is an excellent chance she will be charged with whatever they think they can convict on. JMO
