It just never ends for that family. George has always been the one that I felt bad for because I truly believe he loved Caylee and of course never thought any of this would happen. Cindy denied everything and still basically continues to do so. Casey needs to burn in hell and to know she is walking the streets free is evil.
None of this sounds good for George after what he has been through.:(
 
I don't know how recently others have had accidents where the air bags didn't deploy but recently due to many faulty air bags not deploying I think things may have changed.

Last month one of our grandsons had an accident when he collided with a deer coming home after dark from work.

He owns 2017 GMC pick up. OnStar clocked him going 38 mph in a 45 mph zone.

His air bags did not deploy even though it should have with anything over 35 mph.

When the tow truck came he advised him it would have to be towed to his own home instead of going directly to the repair shop for front end collision damage.

Our daughter called his insurance company for him. They told her she would first have to contact both the NTSB and GM in Atlanta to come out for an inspection with a written report by both.

It took over a week to get both done and until both reports were completed the repair shop couldnt bring the vehicle to their shop for repairs.

Even though they wrote up the necessary reports needed for the repair shop the investigation as to why it didnt deploy as it should is ongoing. Both reps have been to the repair shop a couple of times.

So knowing this I think they take air bags that didnt deploy much more seriously now.

Thank you so very much, and you're welcome. :) We've not had a horrific crash, but had MANY very tense and concerned months with each of our cars' air bag problems. Getting them fixed was a huge deal, almost requiring assistance from our attorney.

If anyone reading here has a luxury car dealer snow you on a problem as serious as airbags shooting out metal shrapnel which decapitated a few people in our general location during the horrid Takata airbag recall ( there were no replacement safe airbags for our larger BMW for close to a year and I wouldn't drive it or ride in it), I highly suggest involving your personal attorney. At one point, I didn't consider either of our cars drive-worthy and they are supposed to be top of the line quality.
That's how and why I researched and learned all about Takata, a Mexican supplier of the original airbags in one car, and the humidity in the Gulf Coast south causing corrosion and contact problems with airbags otherwise ( not related to Takata in terms of general airbag integrity, but causing greater injuries to those located in the geographical areas along the Gulf when a Takata airbag malfunctioned).
We REALLY should have sued the BMW dealer for delaying the repairs for so very long. I'm still upset about it all. It's extremely doubtful that we'll ever choose BMWs again after owning very good cars going back 20-25 years in our car purchasing history.

As far as George, I've been thinking about this.. Crazy Casey's parents are each kind of in a gray area between " public figure" and " private citizen" as far as news information and the public's right to know goes.

I think it's possible that the Anthonys may choose to go very private with his condition and prognosis, especially if George's accident caused injuries to others, which I believe may have occurred. I'm not expecting much out of the news unless they need a Go Fund Me set up for him, or he passes away, which I hope neither happens, of course.
I remember him many times a day and hope for the best, but I'm really not sure we have the right to know anything unless Lee or Cindy give an update.

Also, his condition may still be unstable and mostly undiagnosed. We just don't know yet.

I read that Casey will not be intruding into his hospital room, which I am so very thankful for. I honestly think, as a former ICU RN, that the stress of her yakking and dramatic carrying on in her stupid ways over his bedside could kill him, even if he's believed to be ill enough to be unresponsive. It is true that the sense of hearing persists in many cases even when someone is believed to be unconscious.
 
I wonder if he was on his phone? Article notes "Troopers think Anthony tried to swerve his 1999 Toyota 4-Runner back onto the roadway and that’s when he lost control, flipping the vehicle several times before coming to rest off the median shoulder" Nice to read so many think well of him. I don't. Not that I wish harm to him, but I think he gets too much credit for things he never did.
 
I have epilepsy. I have to have a 24 hour EEG every year to satisfy the DMV that my medication is working and that I have no active seizure activity in order to drive. I haven't had a grand mal or lost consciousness since 2003 but I still have to prove my brain is fit every year. My insurance was much higher years ago because of it but it has gone down in the last 5 years because I've never had any incidents.

I too have a soft spot for George. He is a flawed human being but I think he was doing his best. He certainly didn't deserve Casey's BS. Prayers up for his recovery.

I agree. It amazes me how much sympathy he gets. This is the man that lied and gambled away (and stole) their families money. And rarely ever worked. Sound like someone we all know?

DailyMail.com has learned that Anthony suffered a setback earlier this week that may require him to extend his stay while recovering from his injuries.

At the same time, his wife Cindy has created a page seeking donations to help with her husband's medical costs.

Oddly I can’t find a for him and there is no link in the article.

Sometimes airbags don’t go off during a wreak.
