Unfortunately for GZ the defense's forays into fantasy, including poor taste jokes are cringe making. O'Mara's pettiness is asking Sgt. Raimundo if he felt policemen were ever belittled is another empty ploy to distract and detract from the Actual Murder/Crime, which ever you may deem it.

Also, Zimmerman is doing a great identity of Cold Fish....with no emotion beyond mild impatience when something is repeated. His dead expression suggests total indifference, even when pics of TM's lifeless body appeared.

Is he sedated or has he ice water running through his veins?

It wasn't raining that hard.

Blood is still SOMEWHERE, even if washed away. It's washed away to somewhere. This is a crime scene investigator. They know to look for blood, wherever it might be. They mark a single drop.

TM did not bleed that much because his heart was immediately stopped with the bullet...no blood to pump out. It wasn't washed away, it was never really there.

TM did bleed. There is blood running down his chest to his side.

I believe it was washed away. there is no dispute TM beat GM head into the pavement as it was witnessed by a 3rd party.

IIRC, didn't the paramedics clean up and treat GZ's wounds at the scene after he refused transport to hospital?

The Prosecution is choosing pictures from after he was cleaned up.

There was blood on the back of his head at the police station (even after he was cleaned up), clearly showing that it wasn't some figment of people's imagination (as some may be trying to imply by asking where all the blood is at the crime scene).

I'm wondering why GZ clothes are not dirty, I would think he would have some dirt on the back of his jacket, even grass stains. Am I missing something?

What are you talking about? They took his clothes for evidence and his wife came up to the police station with a fresh pair of clothes.

If this is what you are talking about, this is why his clothes are not dirty.

yes, they cleaned him up at the scene before he was taken to the police station.

If Zimmerman's story is true, Martin died because Martin initiated a confrontation and proceeded to beat someone's head into the sidewalk. Which he had no right to do. Zimmerman had every right to be where he was, and ask Martin a question.

Per Zimmerman? right? self serving IMO. Doesn't make his story true.

Are people questioning was there even a scuffle? If GZ was winning the fight, would there have been a need to pull out the gun? Were they standing face to face and George shot him? Or was George pursueing Travon, and shot him in the chest?
Seems like a lot of questions about things that had to have happened.

That red jacket shown in all of those photos was what he was wearing that night.

Or perhaps he's been living this every day for the last year of his life, and is simply tired of it all. Perhaps he knows he was well within his rights, and the individual that you're suggesting he should feel sympathy for was trying to kill him. You're presenting a false dichotomy.

Thank you, I didn't know that part. I just saw the police photos of him and his jacket looked clean...

What prefaced that statement?

"If Zimmerman's story is true"

I believe I clearly addressed this. Thanks for your concern, though.

Don't jump on me for this please, just putting a "suppose" out there....

He went the next day to his doctor. He refused ER the night it happened.
Let's say he was busted up a bit, but not ENOUGH (to prove he was beaten).
So maybe he thinks I need more proof, and enhanced his injuries, so to speak.
Could have the wife give him a shot to the nose, or just bang it into a wall or something, if needed.
NOT saying he did this, NOT saying he didn't have injuries to begin with.
More or less just questioning why not do EVERYTHING possible to provide proof the moment it is all happening?
He had to know this was not going to be something he was going to walk away from, wether LE believed his story to start with or not. Unless he was counting on what he thought "Stand Your Ground" would do for him.

Again, I am just playing Devils Advocate here.

PS- I know you all are gonna say "Who would be dumb enough to hurt themselves?". To be honest, if I thought I would need proof to not go to jail I sure as hell would!

There are pics from that night.

nothing so far supports murder. never should have went to trial IMO.

Regardless of my own opinions, I don't believe we will see a conviction in this case. Possibly a tiny chance of voluntary manslaughter but that would be the most.

The clothes he was wearing AT THE TIME are not showing much is what is being said/asked (I think).
It's true, I am not seeing any grass or mud stains.
If they were on the ground on a rainy night I would think you would be seeing more grunge on GZ's clothing.

Wouldn't a xray show the extent of the injuries? Maybe surgery would have been needed. Apparently wasn't very bad.

One of my daughters had a broken nose. When I took her in to the doctor, he said it was a clean break and her nose was straight, so no xrays were necessary, nor was any sort of *treatment* other then being careful to not reinjure or bump it to put it out of align during the healing process. It was extremely painful though, and considered a bad break, just didn't make her nose crooked at all.

I believe this all should have gone to a grand jury and that the special prosecutor was simply pandering to the popular opinion and protests.

I think GZ was on top of TM when he shot him; he then rolled the body over to try and align the body with his story. He's changed his story several times and the actual evidence just does not match up. An unarmed, teenager was killed by a wanna-be cop that thought he had authority to boss people around that he didn't know. If you listen to the first 911 call, he already has his mind made up that TM is a , on drugs, and just suspicious...why you ask? Well, because he's walking at night in the rain.
