She did ,also the father of one of the children.

I found a paywall article where the father was mentioned but not the policewoman, have you a link?

2200 kilometers as the crow flies lie between the scene of the accused act of abuse in Messines and the court. The chamber, on the other hand, wanted to save three witnesses from this journey: these are the 11-year-old at the time, her father and his friend - his questioning will be canceled that day due to time constraints.

Wasnt it said it wasnt cross checked with others with similar MOS?
  • May 22, 2024: On day 17, the head of the BKA's operational case analysis was supposed to testify. The Federal Criminal Police Office has compared the rape of Hazel B. with the rape of the 72-year-old American woman, for which Christian B. was convicted. But: The chief profiler is missing for reasons of illness. Christian B.'s lawyers file a motion for rejection -due to bias

No doubt this is amongst the evidence that the judges neglected to listen to before their extraordinary cancelling the arrest warrant?

Is this court statements or newspaper articles?

Abuse victim thinks he is her tormentor

Braunschweig. The Braunschweig Regional Court is hearing CB for child abuse, including a crime in 2007.
  • May 28, 2024: The trial now turns to the fifth accused case from 2007: The victim, now 27 years old, is "very, very sure" that Christian B. was her perpetrator. According to the indictment, B. is said to have ambushed, grabbed and masturbated the then ten-year-old girl on a stretch of beach. She wants to recognize B. by his grin and teeth.

Obviously it didnt considering they lost
The abysmal court reporting does leave a lot to be desired when it comes to trying to keep up with events; which makes it understandable that you are unaware that as at present no verdict has ever been handed down in this particular child abuse case.

After his arrest in the playground of Sao Bartolomeu de Messines, arrangements for CB's deportation to Germany to answer a European Arrest Warrant were completed.

Which means that the present trial is the only one to address the circumstances of the crime committed against the Portuguese playground children in 2017.
The Braunschweig judges appear to have driven a coach and horses right through the middle of all five charges including that one ;)

Snip
  • April 26, 2024: On the eleventh day of the trial, another witness from Portugal is heard. The man had held the defendant on a playground in 2017 until he was arrested by the police. According to his descriptions, Christian B. first tried to move away and then claimed that he had only urinated. At the same time, the presiding judge UE reprimanded the work of the Portuguese authorities.

absolutely, no validity at all, just a desperate attempt to smear the judges.
Certainly seems to be ego driven. Their case is the problem. If it wasn’t, I sure the arrest warrant wouldn’t have been cancelled.

So you think there were two rapists in that smallish area with similar MOs
The smallish area where the PJ put together a list of 600 known paedos? It’s been argued on here that the Algarve was rife with sex criminals - from people who live there.

IMO the prosecution haven’t shown that only one person was responsible nor the it was their suspect.

So yes, given the above, I think it’s entirely possible.
