That is an interesting video. It is a really pretty park, and it was uploaded on 5/26/2012, which is probably the day that the head was disposed of. I don't think there is anyway to know what day is was actually filmed, short of messaging the owner and asking them. I am too chicken to do that... :hills:

Thanks. I think this case is weighing heavily on my mind that when I see something out of the ordinary, I keep thinking it's suspicious. LOL

Long story short.....I don't live anywhere close to where Magnotta lived and nowhere near Parc Angrignon but this morning there was a pick up truck with Vermont license plate at a convenience store around the corner of my house and I thought that was very weird. I live in the suburbs and the convenience store is not on a major road. It's actually so out of the way that only locals would know it exists. I wondered how in the world would outsiders know where to find it but then I blew it off thinking they were probably visiting someone local and were told where to go.

I didn't want to make it obvious that I was staring at them but I did memorize the last 3 letters of their license plate and then I drove off like a madwoman. LOL

This case has done the same to me. I sleep with one eye open and notice everything and anything out of the ordinary. For instance, about 2 weekends ago I kept hearing the neighbor's (across the street) dog barking in my sleep. I finally woke myself up (it was about 1:40am) and kept listening to the incessant barking, probably for another 5 minutes, before I decided to get up and peek out the window to see if anything was going on. As soon as I looked out the window I saw an older and slightly overweight man in all white and wearing a white ballcap walking briskly with his head down towards my house. He was on the sidewalk and obviously kept on going, but my heart literally jumped from my chest and I was up for the next 3 hours going from window to window to see if anyone was lurking around. Keep in mind that I live in the States and VERY far from Montreal! My brain has just been all f-ed up from this case. I cannot even explain why. I am a true crime and horror buff with nerves of steel and a very strong stomach for the macabre. I can't figure out why I am so disturbed and on edge with this one. Probably because I watched the video (which I didn't even find all that disturbing at the time) but I'm not sure. Ugh. I honestly wish I had no knowledge of any of it. I'd be sleeping so much better at night...

I had to look it up because I haven't used public transit in years. OMG! I didn't realize how expensive it is. :thud:

the poster had another video{from the 24th of a street protest that he uploaded on the 26th too} so I'm thinking it was that Sat. plus look at all the kids in the video,seems that they were not in school.I was noticing that his ride took him right to a bus/transit area...now if someone knew that area they could pinpoint the time of day by the shadows....at first I thought Luka might only go to the park in the dark,but public transpotation would be running less then

all the other videos on youtube are from birdwatchers around the lake,that seems like a VERY popular location to have hidden the head that long in
birdwatchers are very methodical and would have noticed something on the shore there?????

If he had enough money to buy an Air Transat flight to Europe, he probably had some money around to zip around on public transit the days before he left.

I suspect he had saved up some money, from some of his escort work in either Toronto or Montreal.

FWIW, I have seen no evidence supporting the notion that LRM created the kill video to "sell" to anyone for money, particularly since this idea originated with LRM himself. In his April and early May YouTube/Web postings creating a "buzz" about the video before it was made (he suggested the kill video was a "snuff" film made in "San Fransisco (sic)" and sold for a "lot of money". We know the "San Fransisco" (sic) part is false; I'm going to go out on a limb, and say the rest of these claims are false, like most of the ramblings in LRM's online sock puppet postings.

Weekend schedules are also not like rush hour schedules and yes, nightly schedules are even less frequent but also less noticeable.

Actually, I think bikes are so "in" now. We have bike lanes all over the city. Not saying he had a bike but it would be the easiest and more convenient way to get around but you're right, I don't see him riding a bike for some reason. He's too full of himself.

Did you notice the guy walking around 2:42 in the video? He is wearing back gym shorts and a white t-shirt and appears to be holding something in front of him.... like he is carrying a container perhaps? He is walking in front of a group and I don't get the feeling he belongs with that group from the very limited view of him. The back of his dead sort of looks like LM looked when he got off the plane from Berlin - short cropped hair. I would have thought he would have worn a disguise to the park that day, but who knows??

lol, I agree. Also he posted in some healthboard about a bad knee (littlenemo1 alias) so maybe for once he was telling the truth? I mean if he actually had a knee problem it would be painful to go around with a bike. Actually i don't even see him going to the park with the head, I keep thinking that he mailed it to someone and this person dumped there at the park at a scheduled date and gave the anonymous tip, I mean the timing is just too perfect, exactly on a national holiday they found the head? sounds like something out of a movie. I will wait and see if it's indeed the victims head before any theory...

Nooo, that guy is larger and has a rounder head than Luka. However, the guy in skinny jeans and sunglasses walking towards the camera at 2:28 could pass for him! But something tells me that you'd try to be a bit more discreet if you are luggin around a 10lb head. I'm guessing he made his deposit at night.

I know it's random info... but Basic Instinct was filmed in San Francisco while American Psycho was actually shot almost entirely in Toronto. Wonder if LM had a thing for San Francisco because of the movie location... probably not... maybe he just thought that saying the snuff was from San Francisco would sound more interesting....
