Remember there was a body found in the Twin Falls area. It turned out to be some older Euro dude seeking his inner utopia I guess. Ive come across more than one abandoned campsites. Sometimes guys just move out into the jungle or high grasses. Most are mental. http://mauinow.com/2014/03/28/breaking-hunter-finds-human-remains-in-haʻiku-near-twin-falls/
We get those where I live too. IIRC, Brooke was upset because some on Facebook posted that Charli's body had been found instead of waiting for official release of whose body it was.

Thing is about Charli's 4runner. It was dumped and burned after the main searchers had left the area. The doors had been removed. Now its not hard to remove doors but it takes some good sockets and breaker bars. Now what he drives it doorless to Jaws...or he removes them at Jaws...how does he get them home or wherever...again...you cant drive 2 vehicles at once....Rivera is going here...stay tuned folks
What would the possible reason be for removing the doors? The grille makes sense because unique, but are the doors of value?

I think he had help with the vehicle, more likely than not. If so, someone is keeping his secret for him, as often suspected.

Are MM and Cousin Dani on the witness list?

True. I have a son who buys care that need fixing up and sells them, so I get that. But saving doors of a vehicle that is connected to homicide is a big risk, so are they of that much value? Are the doors still where they put the original VIN #?

More bombshell testimony from Taylor!

Testifying Tuesday in Capobianco's 2nd Circuit Court trial, Taylor Farner said Capobianco sent her a text message and they arranged to meet sometime between midnight Feb. 9 and 2 a.m. Feb. 10, 2014, at Hanzawa Store in Haiku.
When she reached into the passenger seat of Capobianco's white truck and hugged his dog Chunk, Farner said Capobianco "kind of backed away."
"He went to the opposite side of me and I could sense that he wanted space," Farner said. She said Capobianco wasn't talkative and his face looked "stern."
She said it looked like Capobianco was "kind of pissed off or irritated, for the most part."
Their meeting occurred within hours of when Capobianco's ex-girlfriend Carly "Charli" Scott was last seen.
Farner said she tried to call Capobianco on Feb. 9, 2014, but wasn't able to immediately reach him. When she did make contact, he wasn't able to meet with her earlier that day, Farner said.
"He just said he had something to take care of," she said.
Farner testified that she had been trying to call Capobianco that day because she and a co-worker "wanted to get Molly from him."
She said she was referring to MDMA or Ecstasy, which she described as a "party drug."

---------

Farner said Capobianco finally contacted her by text message late on the night of Feb. 9 or in the early morning of Feb. 10, and her co-worker drove them about 15 minutes from Makawao to Hanzawa Store.
There, Farner said she had reached into Capobianco's truck for "not even a minute."
"Did you have a chance to notice his hands?" First Deputy Prosecuting Attorney Robert Rivera asked.
"He kept them down near his thighs," Farner said.

She said she was with Capobianco when his truck stalled in East Maui in October 2013.

That day, she said she had received a text message from Capobianco saying "it was his birthday, he wanted to hang out with me for his birthday and if I could wear something sexy."

She said she was wearing a black dress when he picked her up in his white truck and they drove toward Hana at night. They were on Hana Highway between Honomanu Bay and Nahiku when "we got stuck," Farner said.

"His truck, I don't remember if it broke down, but it stopped working for some reason," she said.

After pulling over on the side of the road, Capobianco tried to call a friend who didn't answer. "I don't remember if he called any other of his guy friends, but we waited," Farner said.
She said she fell asleep and "probably slept for three to four hours."
"Finally, we got a call back," she said.

Capobianco's friend and his friend's girlfriend drove out, with Capobianco and his friend working on the truck to get it started, Farner said. "He woke me up and said it was working again," she said. "We got in the truck and headed back toward Haiku."
She said the sun was starting to rise as they were driving back.

"Did the defendant mention why he would rather sleep in his truck than leave it in Hana or in that area?" Rivera asked.

"Because he said it would get stolen," Farner replied.

She said the white truck was a different vehicle from the new 4Runner she saw Capobianco driving to a Super Bowl party at her house in 2014.

After reading Taylor's testimony do you think SC had his dog Chunk with him when he took Charli?

I don't know what I think. I am just :jawdrop:

But I have always said that the police know a lot more than what we've seen in the press, and Taylor just proved that bigtime. Can you believe this guy, out there selling Ecstacy hours after he murdered Charli. Unreal.

So, SC was not in his 4 Runner when he met Taylor at Hanzawas.....it was broken down at home?
I don't think it's greasy jail food causing SC to break out; it's all his repressed/buried toxins trying to find air.

I wonder if Taylor saved her text messages from that night.

Its very well the recipient (Kyle Knight perhaps..Big Toyota 4runner guy...case witness) was an innocent unknowing accomplice.

Why do you say he was not in his truck?...Oh I see now after reading the article

90 calls or texts??? I decided to blow up his phone(So she could get her dope) What a...

Thanks, PT. that makes sense for the innocent receiver. Just super dumb on SC's end to sell or even give away any parts of her car.

It's very confusing. If he has an alternate truck to drive, why did he need a ride to work? Maybe it's such a bad ride that it only goes to Hanzawa's but not to Pai'a? ;-)

When was the Super Bowl, just a bit before this, and so she had noticed he had a new to him Forerunner?
Why is he not driving his Forerunner that Sunday night, if Charli's 4R is the one with the evidence? And he detailed the Forerunner in the morning (the one he told Taylor was broken).

I can only conclude that his 4R did play a part in the murder that left it in a state he did not want seen, or that he had to leave it somewhere and drive Charli's vehicle back to Haiku. I would spec that her vehicle never left Haiku until he went to burn it, except it makes no sense he would transfer the blanket, dog, and DVD from her truck to his. Especially the DVD. Her truck must have gone down the road to Paraquat's, so what part did his 4R play?

Thanks Kapua for snippeting this bombshell testimony. I'm really feeling the net is tight on him now. It may help that she didn't seek police out to volunteer this, help defeat insinuations of a frame. That she didn't think she saw him that night until the police asked about the phone traffic ...

So to recap her testimony:
Sunday SC tells her he cannot meet up because he has to take care of something.
He meets her between midnight and 2 AM, in a stern faced irritated mood and doesn't want her to get near him and keeps his hands out of view. (But how does he sell the pills then? Maybe he has put a baggie in a spot and tells her to reach in and get it and hand in the money?)
Two days later, her best friend his cousin tells her Steven's pregnant ex went missing that night.
a week later, after burned truck and dog and clothes are found, she asks him about being a suspect and he confirms he is the prime and only viable suspect and shows no concern.
I have to wonder if she made any future rides with him.

So we also learn that taking dates out Hana Highway for a late night ride is Steven's idea of a good time -- birthday worthy.
He was really mad at Taylor when she broke up with him. A month later she is sleeping in his truck broken down out near Hana in a sexy black dress. I wonder if she is lucky that she ever woke up.
I feel like he is a serial killer in the making who simply got caught on his first completed kill.
