The Maui Police Department requests the public’s assistance with any information on the whereabouts of Joseph “Keo” Vianelli (33) of Kahului.

Mr. Vianelli was reported missing on Thursday, October 3, 2024, by an acquaintance after he failed to return home to his residence in Kahului.

Mr. Vianelli was last seen leaving his residence at approximately 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 2, 2024.

Mr. Vianelli works in Lahaina and is known to frequent the Lahaina area. Mr. Vianelli left his residence without his vehicle and calls to his cell phone are unanswered.

Mr. Vianelli is described as being Caucasian, 6-foot-3, weighs about 340 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a beige-colored “Hurley” t-shirt, unknown-colored surf shorts, black slippers, and possibly a black colored hat.

He left on foot. He recently got his license back after having it revoked. He had a charge of "OVUII ALC-BRTH" in Sept. 2021. OVUII stands for Operating a Vehicle Under the Influence of an Intoxicant. Case No. 1DTA-22-01273. Another case, the same timeframe, Case No. 1DTA-21-01729 for a DUI - looks like that case was dismissed. so it looks like they charged him with driving under the influence of an intoxicant but not full DUI. A couple other minor traffic infractions but no other court records. Hope he is just out of touch with friends and is found soon.
