I am bothered by this

The view of the front of someone's house is not private. All the neighbors can look at it 24/7, if they so desire; and anyone else can drive or walk by and take a gander at any time of day or night. If the web cam bothers you, think about, if you lived across the street from the Anthonys, how often you would take a peek to see what was going on over there.
Now, if the web cam was positioned to look into their fenced backyard or within the interior of the home, it would be a different story.

You're absolutely right. It is invasive. And it is all done for one reason: RATINGS! The media wants to make a big deal about it because that is what they're best at doing.

There is a big, really big for the internet these day, banner ad right above the cam.... It's about ratings.... ok, but it's about the ever lovin' dollars that are being made off this case by the media too. And anyone else that might put up a live web cam site.... I think I read someone else had one too, somewhere. (I've been sick and away for about three weeks and am just now getting caught up)

I missed all the action from the web cam but I tend to agree, it's not about Caylee as much as it's all about $ at this point. The second anything happens GA-gillions of people will log on to that cam and that's what it's all about. If they left the cams off until the police or FBI or Santa actually shows up then I would be a little less freaked out by it. I could just say wow, live streaming... cool. But not 24/7. That's over stepping IMO.

seem to feel you have more knowledge of the facts than LE and you just

The Media is not a "one-way" thing to be used when wanted only to be told to go away when done with them.. They have a J O B to do just like we all do. Funny how they are praised when they "break a case" leak info that people want to hear but yet some expect them to have an "OFF" Button.. Life just doesn't work that way.. While I see your point, I'm going to politely agree to disagree with you on this.

The Anthony's could have organized a search effort before this weekend, but IMO they are in denial - which is totally understandable, it's part of the grieving process. They could have called in TES and could have gone along with them or at least shown face at the gathering spot to thank the searchers for coming. Beth Holloway was there today. ETA: I just saw where George and Cindy were at the gathering spot and Cindy hugged Tim Miller with TES...not sure if what I saw was Sunday or Monday, but either way, I'm thankful that they are supporting him in the public.

This is about CAYLEE...always has been, always will be. To say "you people are bashing George and Cindy" is just wrong, IMO. Everyone has the right to post their opinions on the people that are in this case, as do you. IMO, there are a lot of reasons to question Cindy and George's actions, but I'm not going to do that here. FWIW, I do have a missing friend of 17 years so I do know what it's like to not know a loved ones whereabouts. I can assure you this, I am positive that NO ONE WANTS TO KNOW WHAT IT'S LIKE TO BE IN THEIR SHOES.

However, I don't believe I've read anywhere on this board where anyone has said or feel that they have more knowledge of the facts than LE...so that would be strictly your opinon. FWIW, I do not know if LE has named any other POI's because they are pretty tight-lipped. Sure Casey is their #1 POI.

And again...IT'S ALL ABOUT CAYLEE! (as it should be)

Are you saying that you believe LE has asked the media to film the Anthony house 24/7 and broadcast the Anthony's every movement to the world?

I think LE would ask them to turn off the webcam if nothing else was going to happen there, how convenient for LE to have 5 sec screenshots of everything that happens there?
