I think I broke WS

I think it's just a loading problem that happens when the site is slow - if I refresh after it is centered it either gets better or I get the "oops - site down" sign.

Still, it shouldn't happen regardless, but just like when you take your car in it never makes the funny noise when the mechanic is right there.

I'd be tearing my hair out but I need everything I've got left.

My elbow hurts when I go like this...

In the past few days, in addition to the slow loading and server timed out error messages, I have had WS just freeze up my whole computer at least 3-4 times. Mouse just went dead and me banging on all my keys had no effect.

Had to click the off button to re-start my laptop, cuz everything was just frozen. Then when I started Firefox again, it re-started the WS page that shut down my laptop with no problem.

It's only happened on WS, not any other website. And, it's been on random threads, which, of course, I can't remember now.

Hey, since you guys are so eager to share blame, will you back me up when I spend too much on shoes?

BTW since my OP, I have not have an issue with getting in.

Here's a tip.

I use this site to see if the trouble is with me or with WS:

http://downforeveryoneorjustme.com/

Just remember to put in the plain, non-members-only URL, and it will tell you if the site is just plain down or whether it's just your comp having troubles.

Or you can do what I do and ping the server from your command prompt. I am so old school. or is that just old?

I need to know how to contact admin and ask a confidential question. How can I do that, can't PM Trish, so how can I get through to someone? TIA.

Well of course YOU would know how.

Did we break W/S again? Mine is timing out and when it finally loads...I get the centered posting drama again

Could it be we are "hitting new posts" at the same time...I admit......I have been doing that for a couple of days now LOL

Anyone else having some pretty screwed up quoting function in their posts?

Anyone else having some pretty screwed up quoting function in their posts?

I'm not having any problems today, but I have had a weird glitch happen in my quotes a couple of times. The capital letters inside the quote would all be replaced by lower-case letters when the posts showed up on the threads.
It was maddening, especially since I could picture people thinking I was trying to be some kind of affected, e.e. cummings-like poster.

I stated in the thread while we were waiting for the KC hearing that I was NOT taking any responsibility for it this time.

I sincerely addressed it to Tricia and . So ya'll are on your own.:Banane30:

I think that would be kind of cool. I mean if you wanted to e.e.cummingsesh

Margins are blown waaaaay out - mostly on the Caylee threads, very hard to read. Is it someone's picture or added below post remarks? Anyone else having this problem?
