If one was to take a guess and a cold sort of approach to Otto's dream, I would think the woman on the stool in a large room represented justice (a judge) (stool, bar (law) = barstool) perhaps with a bias (for good, hopefully) sitting sideways.
The silent basketball game = negotiations behind door(s)

The girls? I dare not guess, but maybe since they "came from the right" (just as they cycled to the right of the auction house in cctv vid.)
and did this 3x .....

I'm missing something here. Why are we trying to analyze Otto's dream? Do we think it will help find the girls somehow?

Not being snarky, I just wondered why Otto's dream seems to be so important.

Of course, at this point with nothing new from LE, any source of conversation about the girls is good.

Because there is nothing to talk about and its all we have.

Otto, if you will, would you describe the silent basketball game? If the door was closed, how did you know it was a basketball game?

Or was the door open just enough to see a basketball game on a tv screen on "mute"?

Your dream details are exquisite! TIA :)

It was one of those strange dream details where you know something even though you don't see it or hear it. The woman was sitting sideways on the tall stool facing left, so the suggestion upthread about symbolically turning her back on the children was bang on. She was sitting in front of a door and I simply knew that there was a basketball game behind the door. I have no idea where that came from, but I actually did go online to look for basketball schedules ... no luck though.

Dreams are strange - often there are odd details that are put together for no reason.

I didn't mean to side-track the discussion. I only posted it because it was so vivid that it has remained as a distinct visual memory, because others have mentioned having unusual dreams about this case, and because I thought it might be interesting. There's certainly no reason to assume that anything in a dream implies anything about reality.

Hey, don't worry about side-tracking the discussion. At this point anything that keeps the conversation ongoing is great, IMO.

It was an interesting dream, and it's fascinating how our minds work while we're sleeping!

ETA: Regarding basketball, maybe you picked up on something while reading about the girls that your subconscious is telling you is important. Maybe we should go back through what info we have and see if basketball or a basketball court is mentioned. JMO

Otto's dream. Cool.

Okay, I'm thinking that there is a woman involved who is either guarding the girls from being found (perhaps being on the lookout) and the girls are together going around and around (i.e. not being able to go anywhere). The basketball game..hmm. Two teams trying to slam dunk? I agree, behind the door negotiations to free them. Just my off the cuff analysis with absolutely no knowledge of how to analyze dreams.

I have read though that, since you are the dreamer, you are all of the characters in your dreams, so you could say something like:

I am a woman and I am sitting on a stool and I am doing xyz, I am thinking xyz

I am the two girls and we are doing xyz and this is what each one is thinking..describe what each is thinking about the situation or each other

I am the stool. I am being sat on by a woman

I am the basketball game, and I am being played behind closed doors

(That is one kind of dream analysis) FWIW It can be quite enlightening.

They were colorfully dressed. They were walking towards me. They wanted to know where they were. There was a basketball game behind the door, but it was silent. I didn't know where they were, but told them to go to the last place that they could remember. The left to the right and then came around again, three times ... and then I woke up. I have no idea how to interpret something like that, but it sure was a vivid, colorful dream. I knew that it was the two missing girls in my dream. They were so quiet, walking together, hand in hand.

I've always believed that dreams represent what's going on in our minds at the time, and obviously the girls were on yours at that moment. My analysis (definitely not an expert one, I seldom even remember my own dreams) is:

The basketball game behind the closed door means that you believe there's something going on behind the scene; you can't 'sense' what it is for sure, but you know it's there.

The woman (who may represent justice as suggested, or could be the mothers/grandma combined) seems to be doing nothing. She could probably help the girls, but she's looking in the wrong direction. She also seems to be blocking the way so you can't open the door to see what is going on behind it.

The girls seem to show that you believe that they are "lost", but at least have each other for comfort. They are looking for you (or anyone) to help them find their way, but don't seem to have any luck with it. You seem to believe you know (subconsciously?) what needs to happen to get the girls home, but feel like it's all just going in circles.

My suggestion would be to look at all of your theories, and see where they all seem to turn to head in the same direction. You might also want to think harder about what it is that's going on behind the scenes that you can't quite see or hear, but you know is there.

How's that for a bunch of gobbledygook?

Aft little EC's birthday, I piled hopes on top of hopes that it wouldn't be necessary for the IA Missing Persons Clearinghouse to change the Current Age on poster for little LC, too.

While things are quiet here, I went to that website to make sure the "Current Age" status had been updated. It has. A general statement onsite says the site is updated every 4 hours... I'm pleased and impressed.

There was one place where all the kids hang out skate park or where they may skate booard at maybe they have a basketball court there as well.

I do remember there is a place where the kids hang out though I think it could be kids a little older than them but I do remember there being a place like this.

Does anyone know if there is a basketball hoop in the driveway of that house by the lake that was vacant (and the subject of a lot of posting) when the girls' disappearance took place?

Or in the driveway of any of the houses connected to the case?

Just a thought. MOO.

TIA.

IIRC yes there was in the driveway of that vacant house. On my phone right now so too hard to search for it but a search within this thread should bring it up. Again IIRC it was posted and would be searchable (not just shown in a pic).

A great thought!! Or WAS there a basketball hoop at any of the houses?

I just think Otto is watching too much basketball reruns. lol. Just kidding.

Can't let you girls slip down onto the second page.
Have the fields been harvested?

Around here and further up north on the roads I drive on, I'd say corn is about 80% done if not more. Not sure on beans as i don't drive on too many roads that are growing those.

What's going on in Evansdale locals??? Are our girls still in your local news?

I come by often and read. I don't have much to say, I just want to say I'm still thinking of these two girls.

From listening down stairs, I can say that the girls are still very much actively being sought by local LE. They follow every tip and lead. God bless them.I think they are even more frustrated than we are..
