the linked article says Luna's body was located in a nearby field (concealed) so I wonder if the park was crime scene taped off because that is where Nathaniel was located by LE in a reportedly bloody state or if he killed her in the the park where she liked to hang out and swing and then took her body to a nearby field to conceal? This small town is surrounded by farm fields.

I just read an article to catch up. This is horrible! I cant even imagine how her poor mother is.. seeing her daughters blood all over this monster. Did he know the victim or was this a random act?

Case info: A criminal complaint says the victim, identified only as Jane Doe, was reported missing by her mom just before 11 p.m. Sunday, 9/22/24. According to court documents, the victim's sister & mom went looking for her Sunday night & ran into Bevers-McGivney, who authorities say was covered in blood & had the missing girl's scooter & other personal items. When law enforcement inquired about the blood, Bevers-McGivney requested a lawyer. Police say they found the teen's body shortly after 9 a.m. Monday morning, in a place they say, suggests Bevers-McGivney intentionally hid her body to conceal a crime. The criminal complaint also notes Bevers-McGivney failed to tell authorities where the victim's body was. Bevers-McGivney will likely make his first court appearance Tuesday morning.

It is unclear what led to Michele’s death and if the two knew one another.
When he was located he had possession of the teen's scooter and some of her other personal belongings. He was covered in blood.He apparently refused to answer any questions to the police.

However, a criminal complaint revealed the location where Michele’s body was found alleging that he intentionally hid her body to conceal a crime.
Her body was found on Monday around 9am in a farm field south of town.

How the family discovered this is terrible.

CALHOUN COUNTY, Iowa — A man charged with murder in the gruesome death of a Farnhamville teen has been arraigned in the case.

Nathaniel Bevers-McGivney, 21, entered a written plea of not guilty Friday to the charges of first-degree murder and abuse of a corpse. He is accused of killing 17-year-old Michele “Luna” Jackson on September 22nd.

The trial information filed in the case says Bevers-McGivney cut the victim’s throat with a knife, stabbed her multiple times and his actions were premeditated with the intent to kill her. He’s also accused of hiding her body.
