Question... Wasn't it in Mo. that someone reported seeing a disoriented looking MT..? Wondering how close Miner Mo. is to where the possible sighting was. I know that sighting has been discredited, but...
The only Miner, MO I know of is in the Southeast part of the state near Sikeston. The dicredited siting was in the Northwest part near KC.

Are we able to compile a list of who has said what so far? In terms of evidence and timeline? Who said she left her glasses and contacts? Who said she was in athletic clothes? Who saw her at 5:30 running? Maybe it will help if we organize that.

Quoting myself, lol. This brings me back to the idea that if she found herself in this situation, maybe she'd have someone available who would offer her a ride over?

Or she'd just wait until morning... IDK.

BBM. Lol, it's one or the other. Or something else we haven't figured out yet but will discuss at length tomorrow. :D

What's wrong with now, lol?!

Who was in town?
Somebody knows something.
Mollie would fight.

I’d love to know the outcome of surveillance footage from Casey’s General Store.

I was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska. I can tell you from various visits to Casey stores throughout the Midwest while on road trips, I’ve run into some shady characters!

Regarding the reward money, I've got a question. If somebody phones in a tip that is simply pulled from thin air, say "The victim is in a blue shipping container 10 miles south of Davenport..." and LE go to this general area and locate the victim, would the tipster get the money even if it was just a completely random guess?

I'm only asking this obscure question because it seems like ones odds of accidentally nailing the whereabouts of a victim in a situation like this might be better than winning the lottery and it might result in tip lines flooded with random guesses from people hoping to hit it big on a random guess.

I would imagine that most tips would be completely ignored unless follow up questions with the tipster were answered in a way that made LE think they might actually know something but I don't know this for sure. Maybe somebody here actually has some first hand experience how rewards/tips are handled.
The "Bring Mollie Home Fund" (as most rewards) has some explicit terms for the benefit of both the victim and donors. If you're really interested, see the Reward Agreement I've uploaded.

And another thing to think about... LE conducting their conversations outside, in full view of the media... That is incredibly odd, and it makes these "interviews" seem staged. Anyone else getting that same vibe..?
That didn't occur to me, no, I just assumed his home was incredibly cluttered.

sdmike1974 we have been advised to use initials when posting the names of the individual you mentioned and we need to bear in mind he is presumed innocent. I don’t want the thread shut down indefinitely.
I hear ya. Has there been a change in WS rules? In my almost 10 years of commenting here I was always under the impression that if you posted a link to a news report using a full name the "Initials Only" rule did not apply.

Perhaps I am mistaken. I respect Tricia too much to violate her rules...even unknowingly.

Or just wears short sleeve shirts all the time? What does that have to do with being in a vehicle a lot?

I was a field service tech for many years and have known other field techs... that tan signature was common. It has to do with position of the arm in relation to the driver window, sun angle, etc. If you spend more time outside, in the open air the tan line at the hem is not as prominent, it results in a more feathered line or gradient in appearance; more of the upper arm would be tan.

I'd guess we'd have to take in to account that MT had to gather clothing for the day, shower/bathe, make/eat breakfast, prepare to escort a large group of children at camp plus deal with attending college classes, jogging routines, take care of the dogs, etc. This makes me think that even though MT heavily used her phone, Fitbit and whatever else, that she did so not in an obsessive manner... only when it was part of her routine or necessary.

The man who saw her jogging said she was using her phone, I think....seems like she was no different than most peer jmo

I followed the case of Anchorage barista Samantha Koenig as I was living in AK at the time. It was so extremely horrible when it turned out to be serial killer Israel Keyes. This just can't go that way.

Well, I tend to believe that she was a little obsessive about social media, judging from her mom saying that she was sending Snapchats like mad to her bf, who wasn't into social media all that much--because she wanted him at the top of her friends list.
Would be interesting to know who was at the top of that list that the boyfriend needed to pass...

I think maybe LE could be using her ending of digital trail as time of disappearance...they would see her pattern and when it stopped, something happened. I hope it is more than that, but that is my feeling. I don’t hear the confidence many of you when LE has spoken, in general. They seemed to still not be sure if they had a crime, last time they spoke. Jmojmojmo

(I know exactly how you feel. I felt the same way when it turned out to be a SK in Jessica Heeringa’s case.)

Then today's article that said the FBI pulled agents off of other cases to put onto Mollies as she is a priority. It's interesting for sure.

I wonder what make her a priority over any other missing person. There isn’t even evidence of a crime, and it is equally as likely that she is voluntarily missing as it is that she came into contact with a serial killer or something. That makes no sense and I can’t help that it is because she is a young, pretty, white female.

I know we've talked about how safe the town seemed, but she has lived other places including Oakland, CA. I can't imagine she has zero street smarts and no sense of self-preservation at all.

She was born in San Francisco, lived in Oakland until 6 (sounds like father could be in the Navy??). Father lives in Fresno now.

So she really doesn't have Oakland 'street smarts'.
