I sure don't see crime is down in our Midwestern town. Far more violence and drug related crimes than years ago.

I understand. I meant non-drug related crime. But statistically, crime is down except in a few big cities. And even then my understand is that it's gang- and drug-related.

You can Google what time the sun sets anywhere, so I googled it for Brooklyn Iowa and the sunset time was 8:35 for tonight. I’m assuming a week ago it was pretty close to this time.

It was 8:39PM on the 19th.

I was trying to walk my own neighborhood. Upscale safe. After day 2 had a stalker. I quit. He scared me. I can't imagine an alone woman feeling safe jogging.

Join a shooting range. Buy a handgun with a safety (not a Glock). Take a handgun safety class. Practice! Get a concealed carry license. Wear it concealed on your body (not in a purse) and feel safe again.

I started concealed carrying (keeping a 9mm on my body) after my neighbor was attacked by pitbulls and I was completely helpless to stop them.

I'm sorry to say I agree with you. It was awful listening to Mollie's Mum's telephone interview last night on the hln website my heart breaks for her family.

That was me.

The fair was July 14th and the 17th-23rd.

I said back then that I hoped LE had checked out all of the fair workers.
