On one hand I think the friends /family are just doing a fantastic job leveraging social media to get word out and engage people and resources. On the other hand, from reading the news stories and find page and the fact the ground search was called off after like 1 day, I'm getting a vibe that they believe it is trafficking related. JMO from what I am seeing so far.

A 19 year-old being trafficked? That's really doubtful - she's way too old for that. I worked in LE for a long time - the Traffickers want girls between 7 years old and maybe 16 years-old. There are thousands upon thousands of 19 year-old women doing sex work, all over the country. A man literally can pick a 19 year-old female escort with whatever traits he desires.

Yes I think LE knows more. Family and Friends are doing an amazing job evident on the FB page. I am not seeing sex trafficking either. Due to her age range etc. etc.

I just saw an article today on another thread about a 19 year old who was lured into a trafficking situation and was rescued. I'm not saying its likely, just not impossible.

And one in Iowa City, about an hour away from Brooklyn, back in April 2018. That girl was 17 and from what I saw in the article went with him willingly at the beginning.

Friend of Mollie's was quoted in this article about the BF and I'm not sure where I read it, but I believe the BF, his brother and the brother's GF all live together.

Officials said they are not ruling out foul play in her disappearance.

"Everything's on the table, unfortunately," Poweshiek County Sheriff Thomas Kriegel said. "We're hoping that she's somewhere with a friend and she'll show up Monday or Tuesday and everything will get back to normal."

Family members said in a statement Saturday that they are thankful for first responders' and search volunteers' efforts.

So, either Mollie "pinned" that on July 17th, OR someone with a sick sense of humor did in her place. Its possible, although she was spoken to on the 17th, as presumably, in charge of her own account. Its very strange or ironic in light of her now missing.

One thing that I can see with regards to the trafficking is that she is 5'2" and about 120 lbs. It wouldn't be hard to mistake her for being younger than she really is. It worries me that she lives so close to Interstate 80. I live in the area and Brooklyn, IA is only 4 miles from I-80.
