Really? And what is the family doing....? Nothing...if they really cared about him they would be going national, etc. They would be coming forward working with investigators, doing everything possible to find Deorr. Klein seems to be doing a heck of a lot more then them.

What has Klein done which LE & the FBI hadn't already done?

I thought Deorr Jr was the victim. His siblings are safe & their welfare will be subject to extra vigilance.
Klein has done tremendous damage to the immediate family & beyond through his bluff & bluster. Reducing the investigation to a cold case shows what little evidence he really has.

DeOrr is the victim, but so are his siblings. They will have to grow up knowing what kind of monster that their mother is.

I don't see where Klein has done any damage, I'm sure if law enforcement thought that he was hampering or damaging the case they are building then they would have had a gag order imposed.

What damage has been done to this so called immediate family? The way I see it is the immediate family has done their own damage by not being truthful from the beginning. There are very few of little DeOrr's blood relatives that I truly feel sorry for,

I'm positive Sheriff Bowerman naming Vernal and Jessica the only suspects in what he believes to be a homicide was the most damaging blow. Klein has just given us a glimpse of what terrible liars and actors the parents are. As I'm sure you know Klein isn't LE so it's not up to him to bring criminal charges. We can all hope (most of at least) that the police eventually get enough evidence to get the guilty parties in court where they belong. I bet the stenographer will quit mid trial if they have to transcribe Vernal.

What new evidence do you suppose altered Sheriff B's opinion to make J & V suspects, while the campsite had been covered in snow for 3 months?

<modsnip>

Deorr is the victim. But his siblings and the innocent family members are the true victims when compared with the 4 adults at the campground.

Yes the 2 siblings are safe, for now. But their father and primary caregiver is expressing concern about their mother being free and him being legally obligated to allow her to see his children, something he is clearly concerned about. These children will also live their life without their baby brother, and either lose their.mother to prison or question her involvement for their entire lives as she is as a suspect. So yes, these children (all THREE of them) are the true victims.

IMO- anyone who blames Klein or LE and not the lying parents for this case being stalled until it became cold should be ashamed of themselves. Take off the blunders and stop blaming the only people In the world trying to find this boy.

Well a couple of things. First of all the sheriff seems like a deliberate man so I imagine he took his time making the decision. I would imagine the fact no one could ever corroborate any of the stories about Deorr being present at the campsite was a huge factor. Multiple failed polygraphs in particular questions about if they knew where Deorr was also would help. The poly's weren't all given day one so who knows how long that process took. Lastly LE is privy to all of the cell data, pings, gps data, and all of the financial records.

On the converse side of the argument perhaps it is a grand conspiracy to pin this crime on a simple man who like hats, and his (now ex) girlfriend who suffers from a RBF.

It's very easy to forget that if the family themselves were satisfied with what LE and the FBI had been doing they would not have hired Klein in the first place. They sought him out, they solicited his help, and he has worked tirelessly on baby Deoors behalf amongst great controversary. A weaker person would have walked a long time ago..remember Vilt? He left, couldn't take it.. Let's also not forget that Klein has donated thousands and thousands of hours and dollars to find baby Deoor and bring him to rest. This is all FAR above and beyond what LE and the FBI can do. JMO

PREACH!

Thank you, I'm so sick of people defecating on Klein. The guy is working for no profit with some of the most miserable people I can imagine. He must have to go home and punch holes in his walls out of frustration.

IMO local LE were hoping Klein would be able to do what they couldn't - extract a confession from one of the four & hopefully find Deorr. I find it so unprofessional that Klein could pronounce his findings without ever having interviewed one of the witnesses and with very little co-operation from another. How can you determine guilt from a half-complete investigation?
It's very easy to annihilate the 2 people who have spoken, at length, to the various investigators & also the public. It's much harder for people to accept that the 2 may well be telling the truth, despite their recollections becoming distorted over time through repeated questioning & attempts to induce certain responses.
Find the body & prove they killed him - that should have been Klein's main objective before throwing out unsubstantiated accusations.

Wandering a long (for a walking small child) distance away from the campsite appears to have several very strong arguments, or some might even say proofs, against it, including
1. If that happened, tracker dogs would have tracked his scent trail leading away from the campsite.
2. His boots would have soon fallen off..
3. He definitely would have been found, within the maximum distance a small child could have walked, by the extensive searches.

Number 1 may be countered with a question (which is impossible to answer) "What were the names of the tracker dog and handler who located Baby Rainn?".

<modsnip> We would not have a tenth the line of sight into this case unless it were not for Klein, in my opinion.

Well I am starting to get confused, Am I looking at auto trader or a thread about a missing (presumed deceased) toddler?

It is great to know all about car seats and the various trim levels available in 93 Dodges, but I am not sure how this relates to the subject at hand. If we are at a dead end about what to talk about in regards to Deorr perhaps we can list our favorite lie from the parents? My favorite one is how they have changed the story about if GGP knew he was watching Deorr or if Deorr just kinda decided himself to stay with GGP.
You're my favorite! This is the first post I opened tonight, and.... You're just the best!

The lies... I don't even know where to begin.

T and J and some relatives and friends have been searching very recently (this month). I think their strategy makes sense, to search an area further down than the campground. Does anyone else here think there is a chance they might find something?
A conscious, perhaps? Nah, that's probably delusional of me.

Suggested name for the four adults at the campgrund (someone here on our thread asked for a name):

"4RR"

(the four responsibility refuseniks)

:D

I wonder sometimes if he is in those other places they went to, Stage Stop or wherever. Someone on FB group mapped it one time and they had apparently done 200+ miles for diesel. Maybe going and checking other areas they went is the key. I honestly think he is no where near that campground. Just strange.

Thats one thing Klein mentioned in his statement , they plan to search other areas around Leadore away from the campground. I just wish they'd already done it. For that matter why not LE ? I hope they haven't given up.

Yes-- Snake River and Clover Creek Motel (or something close on that name) are two of the spots we want to see searched again. In his Q&A Klein alluded to them having been checked once.
