I can say from personal experience that this isn't necessarily true. Even in an "active investigation", one can apply to request the results. In some cases, it is granted.

The key phrase is in some cases and after many many years have gone by. I don't think that applies here.

And to add. I am very sorry you had to go through that.

What is MM doing on Twitter for the last few hours??? Yikes

Dude is interacting with the people on Twitter and rambling...White knight is a racial slur, the state/county/FBI have the money to post info, etc...

The Daybells left so many victims in their path, I so wanted justice for Tammy too! I am very hopeful with this news. I took a break from WS for awhile but after hearing about Tammy's autopsy report I had to come back, I just heard about it elsewhere! Congrats to BB as well. Those poor kids did not stand a chance I hope justice for them comes swiftly.

The results of Tammy's autopsy would have to be released to Means and Prior (even if not released to the public) right?? If the results of the autopsy suggested no foul play then I think Means would be yapping/tweeting indirectly about it with something other than suggesting it was a teaser to influence the jury pool. jmo

AG transfers Tammy Daybell death investigation back to Fremont County Prosecutor

“Effective this week, the Fremont County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office has resumed full authority and responsibility over the case of the death of Tammy Daybell,” Blake wrote. “The newly elected prosecutor requested the case be transferred back to Fremont to be handled locally. The Fremont County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office thanks the Idaho Attorney General’s Office for their hard work, time and effort on this case.”

(sounds positive to me there will be more charges)

Here’s part of the essay Chad Daybell wrote about his wife 12 days after she died

This story was originally posted on EastIdahoNews.com on March 4, 2020. We are sharing it again in light of the fact Tammy Daybell’s autopsy results were handed over to the Fremont County Sheriff’s Office Wednesday.

Tammy Daybell died unexpectedly in her home on Saturday, Oct. 19, 2019. She was buried the following Tuesday in the Springville Evergreen Cemetery.

Nine days after her death, Chad published an essay titled ‘Moving into the Second Half of My Life’ in the LDS-AVOW (Another Voice of Warning) Global Initiative Newsletter.

The first section of his post was sent to EastIdahoNews.com. Here is what he wrote. If you have the second part of his essay and wish to share it, please email neaton@eastidahonews.com. You can remain anonymous.

Tangentially related, and I think ok to discuss here, I saw elsewhere that the big defamation case Brandon had against lawyers for Melani and others was settled.....in his favor.....for a TWELVE MILLION dollar payment to him....here is what I saw from the records website. Wow...good for him....hopefully they will have learned that their actions and words and characterizations of him, his character, and his behavior was not just upsetting to him personally but it seemed to have effected his life in numerous and extensive ways.

Holy Cow. I wish the settlement had also included a public apology by Melani. And perhaps a "liar" tatoo across her forehead.
