I think it was said quite early on that he was cooperating. People just didn't believe it. Many probably still don't. IMO he's OK.

Regarding CR for the most part I agree he is OK, but at the same time I think he knows more and hopefully he's shared with LE. The thing that really bothers me though is after LVD sent the text to CV's son's that their father had died they were not getting replies from her. She was basically ignoring their messages. One of the son's texts or call's CR thinking possibly he knows what the heck is going on, there is no response and he leaves CR messages to call him back and he never does. Why would CR not return the call? Very bothersome to me.

I have given this thought.vI think initially Tylee was a problem that had to be dealt with. Then they realized that JJ was never going to shut up about her. Or they realized JJ knew too much about what happened to her. JJ may have had some issues. But I feel he was probably very smart and aware of his surroundings.

We've talked about that strip of park and why even if the theories are true (doubtful) it wouldn't work if the crime was conceived before arrival. However, in regards to bears and mountain lions, those are definitely around. There is a video on Facebook from someone's security camera near Jackson, Wyoming that has been going around the last few days showing 6 mountain lions walking through their front yard.

WOW thank you for taking the time to post all of it, LHS, its extremely well written, you thoroughly cover the end-times prophecy /prepper thing in a way that is simple, fair, and without the broad brush often used by ppl who find the whole thing utterly alien to their perspectives. as an exvangelical who still has one foot in that world, i've wanted to post something similar as these concepts are very familiar among Protestant and Catholic fundamentalists as well. i know your post will provide helpful, deeper understandings to many.

One thing that jumped out at me personally here, is your mention of MISSOURI-- i'd not seen any states in connection with That Group other than those resided in by the key players in this case. Can you say more in a general way about what is based in MO?

Well the LDS church openly acknowledges the belief that in Jackson County Missouri is where the Garden of Eden once was. It's a sacred area for members. A lot of LDS specific end times prophecies deal with a time when a great city called the New Jerusalem will be built there. A lot of people have reverence for that idea. I don't know if it plays into the Daybell/Vallow thing specifically yet. I just know that one individual who believed in all these people and more has decided in December to divorce her husband and pick up and move out there. I have no more knowledge about that particular situation, though I wish I did. Her sister informed me about this, and was deeply concerned.

It's one thing, and a very normal one, to have reverence for that area as an LDS member - it's entirely a different thing to abandon your family and run out there because you follow people who say you should. It's the latter that is deeply worrying because it's very cult-like behavior.

If the beneficiary is a minor the guardian can easy access/deplete the funds. Happened to my family members, and they didn't find out before they turned 18. You can sue your parent. Tylee may have learned the money was gone when she wanted to attend college at the younger age of 16? So, she may have inherited the money and her Mom stole it.

And if mom was running out of that money quickly might that not be an incentive to go to the next phase of the plan quickly? The next phase being the one that brought in around $430,000.

I've known for years Chad is a jerk though I have never met the man. I became involved with this case because an author (not Julie) that published through Chad is a very close personal friend of mine. She's been trying to get the rights back to her books for years, and he delayed and delayed and hemmed and hawwed over it and finally said, sure... you pay me for the books you have in your possession and I'll send you the rights. She paid him, and he's NEVER sent her the legal rights to her books. This has been almost two years now that this has been going on. Technically he's in breach of contract with my friend and she COULD take him to court, but she's the one who first informed me of all this going on in December, and now I keep her up to date because she's going through a divorce from an abusive husband, has 10 total kids, but most are adults, and trying to get a degree so she can have a career to support herself with. But she's been saying for years what a jerk Chad is, and for a long time he treated her like a redheaded step child because he was enamoured of Julie Rowe... and now he's enamored of Lori apparently. So he's been a jerk for a VERY long time...

We know he has controlling behavior and is a manipulative and controlling *BEEP* because of how he treated Tammy. I suspect that's been a pattern since very early in his life.

But to a neighbor who doesn't know the child is autistic - they would find this to be odd behavior. The word Autism carries a known connotation for most of us these days. There are general characteristics that go with that terminology.

we dont know that, i think its possibly being assumed. but i think its interesting how uncooperative most of the direct family members of both Chad and Lori have been. MAYBE uncooperative is a bit strong, maybe i should say reluctant to speak up. Colby and family members on the deceased spouses sides are the only ones ive seen crying out for resolution and return of the missing children. someone please correct me if im wrong, i'd love to read statements from both Chad and Lori's direct fam (besides CR) that are focussed on behalf of the missing kids. its perturbing me no end that i've seen nothing! cant help wondering if the silent ones, or at least some of them, remain so because they too are part of this freaky Cult

I have not seen that quote by his parents. I wonder if they think he is an innocent person hoodwinked by Lori who it turns out has a checkered past? Thus they think he will be okay. Or they are in his 144,000 cult and think that Lori has godlike powers to save him. I can't imagine the embarrassment and shame this has brought on all the family related to him and to his church and community. The loss of Tammy's life would be very painful for her family, in-laws, friends and community. To then have all of this confusion heaped on top must be devastating. I am sure there isn't a big enough wall to list the web of people damaged by just her loss alone.

LE needs to haul Mr. Parrett in for questioning ASAP. He claims direct knowledge. This is such a nightmare. This is like reading something from the Southern Poverty Law Center. It all just freaks me out. Oh and rest easy, Chad's writing a book about this "drama".

Just from the video we can see he was very verbal, more so than I had maybe thought previously. MOO

100% this. I was also surprised to see how verbal JJ is, and my anxiety went through the roof when I heard him because he is so very understandable in his speech. I just don't think this sweet boy who dearly loves his sister Tylee, with that mix of autism, ADHD, not sure if there's a little OCD thrown in there, let's just say I'm pretty sure he would never, ever be able to comply with dropping the issue of Tylee or his Dad. And Lori in her absolute heinous cruelty, took away his chance when she took all of his coping tools away & ripped him out of his familiar surroundings, and his Dad, sister & dog are now gone from his life. Lori couldn't be bothered to supervise him outside much less make an effort to redirect him like a normal parent would. This would be a lot for a neurotypical child, & is unbelievably selfish, reckless & wholly abusive to do this to a vulnerable child such as JJ. I want these kids to be ok and able to have good lives so very much.
