All this for an arraignment and plea. Unbelievable. I don’t think we can expect much from it. Of course there’s always the chance she could plead Guilty! Wouldn’t that be a shocker? Like “who knew” right? :)

This has exploded all over CD and LV. No way they expected this result. They are in a pickle for sure.

This is sort of interesting too: according to this sign posted in the jail, Lori Vallow (and other inmates) won't be allowed to have in-person visitors at the jail.

Many many moons ago, there was quite a bit of discussion about Heritage Environmental and Alex's route. The consensus was that his route was from AZ to Benton, AR. That stood out for me since I'm from AR and am familiar with the area. I believe his route was weekly, but I could be wrong about how often he drove it. I remember someone posted a job posting (or a link to one) in August 2019 for Heritage for his route. Alex either quit or was term'd from his job after Charles was shot. MOO

Edited to add: this discussion revolved around what could have possibly happened to the kids regarding his job as a hazardous waste truck driver with a route like this. Since the kids were both spotted after he apparently left Heritage and there is A LOT of scrutiny with hazmat transportation, I think that line of thought pretty much ended. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. Again, MOO

Attorneys for Lori Vallow Daybell filed a document asking the separation of counts 1,2,3,4 from count 5 in her criminal complaint and they are tried separately. Count 5 is misdemeanor contempt of court for failing to meet the Jan. 30, deadline to produce the missing kids. #Vallow

What's the strategy there? To get them separated for purposes of bail? Failure to appear/comply can influence bail I believe. Jmo. Hail Mary.

I think that there is a chance that the defense might argue that Lori lied because she didn't want KW to know where JJ is. However, the law is that law enforcement cannot tell anyone (including KW) where JJ is once they know and he has been seen physically by law enforcement and Lori (actually everyone) is expected to be fully aware and understanding of all laws i.e. ignorance of the law is not an excuse - especially the laws that are beneficial, rather than detrimental, to her in that situation.

It is entirely possible that the defense argument will be that law enforcement, and the State of Idaho, are acting as conspirators in order to take JJ. I half expect some kind of conspiracy nutjob accusation wherein law enforcement is conspiring to take children to give to pedophile rings which is a popular conspiracy theory on the conspiracy sites (they really, really, believe that kind of stuff).

The defense will get some of the stuff they are asking for. I doubt that they will get unredacted recordings or notes where there is any discussion of potential crimes she hasn't been charged with that are, or were, under investigation. Based on the wording it seems very possible that what they request also includes tips submitted by the public.

I wonder whether her attorney will have anything to say today.

I too, after reading the document, thought it sounded like they might be after tips and information related to the public. I suppose they are considering as a piece to their defense that LE allegedly based their case on rumors and hearsay??

Edited to add....tips, rumors, hearsay, secrets etc.., aren't these particular things what LE typically utilizes, to a degree, in a case? Then again, they are being given intel that we are not privy of so.... we shall see.
