she may have a protective vest on
Why would she need a protective vest in a court of law? Can members of the public bring weapons in? Surely they are searched and have to go through metal detectors? We do here in UK and we cannot even carry weapons. Even our bags are searched and we have to turn out our pockets.

Poor kid, imagine being so far away from home while all this is going on. It’s bad enough to loose your mum while your away but what’s followed is unimaginable. He’s probably going to be reading the news updates and wondering what the heck’s going on :( jmo

The one blessing about being on an LDS mission, is that you are focused on the mission, your spiritual journey, and development of your testimony. So, you don't watch the news, tv, or any other worldly addictions that will distract you. Letters home are okay, but no lengthy phone calls.

He could have come home for his Mother's funeral, and choice to discontinue his mission or complete it. I hope that he is focusing on prayer right now. Rather than his father's drama.

They were going as far as searching wallets

If you have been following my posts, which I think you have, because you have questioned me numerous times, you should know that my friendship with Chad deteriorated over my questioning his books, beliefs, and publishing choices, particularly as they related to JR, HS, and everyone else in his world of last days, called to the mountains, crazy train. Of course I don’t believe him either.
So why do you think I am giving too much credence to JR stories rather than Chad's or any other author's stories? I am trying to follow what you say and to make sense of it and that's why I question you. I am not LDS so it is much harder to understand this and what is acceptable LDS beliefs and what is OTT. JR and Chad were joined at the hip until she was ex'd IMO.

I've been wondering the same. But I'm guessing along with the high bail, she is just plain disliked by bondsmen. It might not help unless they can pay the court directly. Jmo

And with the "all hands on deck" meeting in SLC being widely publicized any FOC's (friends of Chad)/BB still on the fence probably bailed (pun intended).

Yes, they LE can easily determine if cell phones were in proximity to each other with a great degree of accuracy.

Data will bring them down..they were not covering their tracks at all. The dumbest thing they did was take Tylee's phone to Hawaii.
And use your disappeared daughter's car in an assassination attempt out of State.

I agree with you; Chad, JR, HS and many other authors, podcast speakers and their hosts, last days chat room / newsletter subscribers and their hosts, and others who we aren’t mentioning here are mainly on the same page in extreme, non LDS beliefs that have a seed in actual Book of Revelations type teachings, and have gone off the deep end. Due to this, and the desire of many of those people to gather more people into their belief structure / pay for play business model, I don’t trust most of what they say, until it can be substantiated. There is plenty of actual, substantiated information for us to discuss and build upon to help find justice, rather than get lost in the rabbit holes of topics that are clearly against the TOS of this fine website. That is my point.

So why the need for a vest?
She may have had a credible threat against her and they’re ensuring that nothing happens on their watch. They may be doing it to play psychological games with her (let her know her life’s at risk and she’s not well liked atm-perhaps hoping that with a bit of fear she would talk). They may just be overly cautious because of the groups she was involved with. It’s a big case for a small town.

We may never find out the real reason but I suspect that with feelings running so high they were just being careful. Moo

Both Chad and Tammy's families live in Springville. It is a smallish close knit community. I would not be surprised that someone heard about the exhumation and called Chad.
Another poster pointed this out earlier:
(if I remembered who I would gladly post the link and give credit!)
Chad actually worked for the Springville cemetery in the past. So yes, not only is it a small, close knit community; IMO it is possible he got a text from someone working there who knew him personally, found out about the 8hr exhumation, texted Chad just to inquire about it, and unknowingly tipping him off.

@Gardener1850 - was it you that posted about this? or did you at one point? I remember reading a post later about the time window; Someone looked closely at whether it would have been possible for Chad to have found out about the exhumation AND tell AC about it before AC died.
