*Trial set to begin (@ 8:30am CT) - IL –Alysha Quate (6) (mid-June 2015, Centreville; found June 6, 2017) - *Jason Scott Quate (35/now 39) “father” indicted (8/16/17) & charged (10/5/18) with 1st degree murder & concealing a *homicidal death (Class 3 felony). Plead not guilty. $1M bond.
Admitted to killing Alysha & hiding her body.
*NV - Jason Scott Quate - In custody in Nevada, Clark County (#17F10214X): 3/12/20 Plead guilty to multiple counts of sexual assault on child. Sentenced on 7/14/20 to 28 years to life. Was extradited to Illinois 10/4/20.
Trial set to begin on 10/3/22.

4/7/22 Update: Next status conference hearing on 6/2/22. 6/2/22 Update: Next status conference hearing on 6/30/22. 6/30/22 Update: Hearing was heard. Next trial set to begin on 10/3/22 @ 8:30am.
IL - Elizabeth Odell-Quate (35) “mother” – plead guilty to concealing a body. Sentenced to 2½ years in prison; released on parole in May, 2020.
 
Not finding anything on this case - maybe @PayrollNerd - you can see what the court site says? Trial still going on? TIA!

I shall go ahead & post this until I hear anything different.

Okay - I will put him on 10/11 for status conference. Thank you for taking the time to look this up! :)

Maybe trial was cancelled & he plead guilty? We shall see I guess!
