In reading her mother's page she mentioned a guy's first name and in tracking that back through Denita I come to someone that has the right address range (there really is only one house on the street) where she was last reported seen (catalpa ave in Royal Lakes) that has a court case history of over 100 cases in Macoupin county.
Actually it doesn't. I would go to Denita's most recent FB and search her friends. "ru"Making sure I'm on the right track, does this Catalpa Ave address by chance directly correspond to the 1 sex offender listed on that street?

Ah, thank you. I was very much on the wrong track.
Did find an interesting article from a car crash a year ago with a Denita as the listed passenger, however I think they made a spelling error on her last name.

The latest article I found ... http://www.thetelegraph.com/news/11...sistance-in-seeking-missing-royal-lakes-woman
Basically it mentions the Sheriff asking that people keep their eyes open and call in if they see anything unusual while going about their travels in the county not necessarily just in the Royal Lakes area and even if searchers had already been in the area.
This leads me to believe that either LE is out of leads or the person or persons they need to be cooperative are no longer being cooperative.
What is still unclear to me is when she went to the casino in Missouri whether or not she drove the roommate's truck or did the friend she went with drive. LE has stated that she returned to the 700 block of Catalpa after returning from the casino. They either are saying that because the friend that Denita went with knows Denita made it home or because the truck made it back or because the person she lived with said she did. It would be nice to hear from the friend she went to the casino with to obtain some clarity in the timeline and whereabouts of Denita up until she arrived at Catalpa. Of course I would also like to know that since she had arrived home why did she leave again? She didn't take a vehicle. Was there an argument?
One thing to note is the person at the house in the 700 block of Catalpa has a felony charge - DUI causing injury - being tried in court. I think the trial is in March if my memory is correct. I suspect this is related to the accident with ejection involving him and Denita from the news article above. Perhaps she has to testify against him?
I know the soon to be ex-husband had taken Denita in May to have surgery on her ankle (I think to insert screws/plates) from his FB posts. Only to have her file for Divorce some 4 months later. Can't imagine that he was too pleased with how all of the nonsense played out.
Yes almost certainly not going to end well. Just the way they were searching and having Major Case in from the beginning gives every impression of a body hunt.I just have a feeling this is not gonna end well at all
And you had the murder of a woman in Chesterfield just two days ago where they arrested a guy wanted out of Texas. He was living in Medora. Two young woman have fairly recently disappeared in this area(not quite as rural as Macoupin, definitely more urban but close). Each time they found the badly decomposed remains it was declared "no signs of foul play." A young lady was murdered in Macoupin county a few years ago and no one has ever been caught. We are so small town people know what their child did at school before they're even off the bus. It seems weird to think no one can find any trace of her, but also understandable(I guess?). I had a friend who did dispatch for Macoupin county for a while, and the crimes are generally tame. Think stray dog, lawnmower stolen, etc. Major Case was called in for their expertise I would imagine, and I'm glad.
