A farmer was working near a ditch beside railroad tracks near Wichert North Road and 500N Road in Momence Township, Kankakee County, Illinois. He smelled a foul odor and exited his tractor to look in the ditch. He spotted a decapitated skull and contacted the police.The skull still contained some flesh and police estimate the victim has been dead for six months or less.
