I hope you don't mind me asking but what did you mean when you said you found a "book bag". Is that something a student would carry? Did you take photos of any of this stuff and did LE follow it up or meet you there at all?

Edit To Add: this residence : Did you just wander in ? Wasn't it locked or was it just derelict or something? (I see you said it was abandoned). Was the plastic clean and new or old and dirty? Did you look in the chest?

No I do not know why he took her however on the 11th is when I found a book bag at Wolf Creek in Shelbyville and then when the pictures was posted of BC I could have swore that is where I also seen him. That is what got me interested in this case. I believe he did not go straight to the tunnels but instead placed her elsewhere until a later date or at night time. Just a guess. I found a location that fits that description. I have not heard from LE, if the information I showed them was relevant or not. Is just appalling that we cannot do more to help.

DSM, what was in the book bag and do you have a picture of it?

Does anyone else think this might not be BC's first violent crime? It strikes me as odd that he can abduct and (maybe) murder someone as a first attempt?

He just seems to have done too much of a tidy job. You would expect a first timer to make a mess and leave evidence everywhere.

I agree. I do not think that this is his first time abducting and murdering. I think other cases based near to where he has lived (e.g. Madison, Wi) should be looked at also. JMO.

I think this was maybe his first abduction/murder because of how sloppy he was doing the abduction, but i dont think it was his 1st sex crime.

This is an actual visit he made which is hopefully ok to discuss his finds and whether he took photos. I apologise if I have misunderstood but can we discuss these facts? If the member actually physically visited a location in the area, then you may discuss his or her observations of the location, assuming it was public property that the member visited and not a privately owned property.

I think this was maybe his first abduction/murder because of how sloppy he was doing the abduction, but i dont think it was his 1st sex crime.

If it hadn't been for the cctv he may not have been caught. That was unlucky for him. Without that LE would never have got the chance to get the audio and it sounds like it could have even been another potential victim instead. So I think it was lucky for LE rather than sloppyiness IMO of course.

<modsnip>I followed a road that had Castle like buildings on it and it was named Old Church Road. Doing the search around that area I discovered a residence which had a basement and a light shining through, in that basement there was an abundance of plastic, a hope chest big enough for a body, a piece of carpet, and not a white bowl with blue trim but a white ball laying right beside it, with a blue stripe. I also found in the trash a mask resembling a bondage mask. The walls were pale and the ground was Earthly. The stuff was in a small dark corner. <modsnip>I also do not believe she was ever at the apartment because it is too populated, the gas station right beside there has security cameras along with stop lights along that route. The maps of the steam tunnels lead right down to where the memorial was held. There is also chemicals stored down there and a gravesite that the college kids used to prank other college kids. It seems too much to be a coincidence that none of this is connected.

But, what kind of criminal abducts someone in broad daylight on a busy street at a bus stop? Wouldn't you think you'd wonder and look to see if there are any cameras? In this day and age cameras are everywhere. I've also thought that maybe he is so arrogant that he thought he could get away with it even with the camera there, like he knew it was there but didn't think it was of good quality and wouldn't read his plate, which it didn't. Makes sense....or he could have been in such a twisted state of mind that he actually thought he was Akuma. Remember way back like in the early 80's all the trouble there was with kids and young adults playing D&D and they actually would play so much it carried over into their real lives and they actually thought they were whatever character they played? I myself was in my late teens and played. We would play for 10-12 hours some times. We had one guy who led the game that actually had a problem with distinguishing reality from fantasy eventually and had to have all sorts of psychological help. We all stopped playing after watching him and what he went through, but in other places in the country kids would go act this game out and some kids were killed. I've wondered about this with bc too, spending all those months cooped up in his apartment playing his games and surfing his kink sites if he mentally got lost.

The ball you saw, was it dirty or clean and did it have a smooth surface.. thinking fingerprints?
Absolute respect to you for your searching and details.. I would be inclined to contact LE again and talk to them, maybe visit them because they would have received so many tips at the beginning it is possible some may have become lost..
I would like a description of the book bag and any other details..
where is the basement building in relation to the tunnel entrances? Is it walking distance?

I did not go through it or take pictures of it but it did have something white and black striped laying in the parking lot beside it. At that time I was unaware of the kidnapping of YY. The two people I saw was the dog, the male person what's the one I believed was BC. I did not connect the dots until BC's arrest and that is where I told my wife I thought I had seen him. Upon reading more about BC and The Disappearance of YY is when I noticed she had a similar backpack.

It is quite possible that every building was not searched ..
