I think mine was like a civic press conf, outside, with various speakers, inc the Delphi Mayor, a local Govrnmnt guy etc....all stood behind whoever was speaking at the Mic and they each handed over to the next guy, who then had to take a short walk down to the Microphone to speak

I do remember the Mayor speaking at a PC too. I’ll keep an eye out for it though as I’m usually best at finding things when I’m not looking.

ETA - this is not the complete video but I think maybe it’s the same event you’re recalling. The video included starts of with a very brief clip of the mayor.

I suspect BG had a burner phone and communicated with Libby using that so he would not be traced which means he knew her real age and was planning on doing something illegal. It looks like he came prepared by the looks of that lumpy coat and fanny pack. It looks like he just wants to kill, not like a normal sex crime since it appears to be planned ahead of time.
Was BG abusing Libby and pretending to be someone else online to see if she talked about it
Was BG caught by Libby committing a crime that would interfere with his job/family/life
Was BG an older person close to the family who catfished Libby to set her up to be murdered for
revenge

I know teens will document all for their social media, I know they screenshot conversations and pics of boys they like. I am willing to bet BG used an app that could not be traced like kik so he was not as worried about his phone history with her. If it was a burner phone, he would need to buy minutes. Is there a POI who has been seen buying those on camera or online. I feel like he knew what he was going to do and that he could easily destroy Libby's phone. I feel BG was given an alibi by someone who initially thought he didn't do it and then was scared to come forward.

I think this was either a drug-related retaliatory hit to send a msg to someone ... or was intended to shut down the revealing of past sex-related goings-on (most likely theory, IMO)... or BG hoped for a sexual encounter and girls fled him, tossed phone into water or far enough away BG couldn't find it quickly. I wouldn't be surprised if BG was back there (during search for girls or at some later date) pretending to be helpful to investigation while looking for phone or looking for something else he may have dropped or left behind. I think BG was in their inner circle OR a prominent person wanting to save himself from being found out for being a predator.

I think BG either a youthful predator late teens to early 20's... or a man bored with his marital bed who took advantage of his position in the girl(s') life to prey on them and was then trying to keep his sick story hush-hush as he may have suspected they were about to bring to light all the bad deeds he had done.

It would be pretty easy to tell where they were from the snap Libby sent from the High Bridge. So anyone that was able to see her snaps would've known they were at the bridge at that time. Even if BG was not on her friend's list, he could have seen the snap while someone else on her list was looking at it. Also, I think for "My Story" you have settings options in which you can choose "only friends" or "anyone can view". I don't think we know for sure if it was on her story, but I'd guess it probably was.

BP stated it in an interview. I believe it was with GH. She also stated that LG had a sudden interest in clothes shopping.

MOO entering high school in fall, every kid suddenly realizes they want an upgrade.

The Delphi junior high and high school share a campus.
One school on each end of a large campus, with playing fields etc in the middle to separate them. I bet Kelsi had beem giving at least LG a ride to school as soon as she got her license.
LG would know what she should be wearing when she started HS.
