Lots of discussion in thread 29...as I mentioned before, we could not agree on where the pic was taken. I lean towards it being very close to where the bodies were found, but there is no proof of that.

I need to apologize to everyone. Last night I posted that Elizabeth Collin's dad said that the numbers when Elizabeth and Lyric went missing as well as the numbers of Abby and Libby's date added up to a number that was associated with a cult. I didn't post a link because it was very late and I didn't have time. I have searched through all my posts and went back to listen to his latest interviews on KWWL and KCRG. I can't find it, but do remember when he said it, that I got chills. It is almost like the news edited out that part of the interview. Again I'm sorry.

Snipped by me, BBM. Exactly. Small town doesn't mean everyone literally knows everyone. They may know people by sight, by association, etc. For example, the girls may have known RL as "the old guy who lives in the white house by the cemetery" rather than as Mr. L.

Heck, my little town, four miles away has the population of 1,100. I see people every time I go to the store that I have no clue as to who they are.

I think we've mostly decided that this definitely isn't the Monon High Bridge because there aren't power lines running across the creek anywhere that is in sight of the bridge.

Although.... it might be meaningless, but one of the news articles that I came across this morning (an earlier article) referred to that pic as being at the same bridge/waterbody, so who knows? Is there a map which would show where hydro lines run in that area?

In one his tv interviews, RL mentioned a son having plate down in the area where the bodies were discovered. Do we know if the son lived there or was around at the time?

Theres son info everywhere but we cannot sleuth.

I hope someone that can link will help me here, but LE said that leads have recently led them to evidence which gives them probable cause for this search warrant. They also made a strange comment about this warrant will determine whether RL will become "higher" up as a suspect.

I am on Tapatalk and for the life of me links elude me. Can someone help? Because I do think this SW is significant.

Police have not revealed what led them to search his home but said in a statement: "We are basically here to eliminate him or put him as a higher suspect in our case."

With RL having 40+ acres of land and him being as old as he is, could it be possible he has at least part time help to take care of his land?

I have not seen anywhere a discussion about others who may reside at the property. No spouse. No kids. No other family. No 'farm hands'. No one. The only person I have seen linked to him personally is the friend/neighbor that was with him in one of the MSM interviews.

Just a few possibilities that could link it to RL indirectly.
>A friend of his kid who is grown and hasn't been around for awhile or just came back in last year or so. (RL could dismiss that "Lil' Tommy couldn't do something like that.He's always been a good kid.')
>A current/former caretaker of the property who had access to all of the property. (Living in a smaller rural area before I know a lot of 'farm hands' were 'only around for a while before they moved on') And they would also have access to a lot of his personal property as well (i.e vehicle, main house, etc)
>A person who used the property to hunt. (A lot of these big rural properties like this will allow or lease their property to hunters) A person who has been on the property for a while would know exactly where the best spot to stay hidden would be.


Just a few things from previous thoughts.
RL told the MSM in an interview while standing in proximity of the girls' location. "You can see the bridge right there"
>What if BG had been there waiting for them? He could have passed them going one way then doubled back after seeing they were alone? That could be what caused the girls' suspicion rise.
>With them searching all of RL's property. What if the BG took the girls through the cemetery onto RL's property and brought them down the same hill as RL brought the reporters down? Just a MOO here about that. If BG came this way he could have 'cornered' the girls between him and the creek with their only escape being going back up the hill or into the water.

Just a few thoughts.

I can. I still call my elderly neighborhood Mr so and so, even though he tells us we don't have to. Maybe it is an local thing but I just always just thought it was a respect thing.

i think if you were threatened by mr so and so it might be different how you address him.. I can see yelling stop it stop it but not stop it mr so and so, stop it mr so and so. You interact with your neighbor differently than they would be from their attacker. You call your neighbor mr so and so to be polite. i would do the same. abby and libby had no reason to be polite. just my two cents.

Let me answer this for you as I and a few other worked on this extensively! We thought it was taken at the creek near the bridge. I did a mock up of where exactly I thought Abby is positioned on a map. Everything lined up perfectly except for one, important element that we could not locate and that is the wires overhead on the picture. None of us was able to find those wires in any photo or video so we had to conclude that the picture was taken elsewhere. We all got very googly-eyed trying to find the wires and in the end we all decided to drop it. Still here is my map if you want to search for yourself:

JMO..It's possible RL didn't lie about his alibi or anything else. Did LE specifically say RL had not been truthful w/his information? I honestly don't recall, but it could be there were some things that didn't dawn on him immediately or could be there was someone he didn't think to consider right away because he wouldn't think they'd have anything to do with something so heinous.

BBM. Sure it is. It's his property, it is his home. Plenty of people, myself included, talk this way. Nothing strange at all.

So earlier, I was going to say exactly this, and CrimeDawg123 beat me to it.

I've lived on a half acre, and lived on 120 acres, and I've always said "my house" when referring to any/all of the property. For example, when purchasing 100 red pines at the Conservation District tree sale, I'd say "I'm planting these at my house," and when I see a grey fox in the woods at the back of my Mother's 80 acres, I tell my friends "I saw a grey fox at my Mom's house." It wasn't in the livingroom, it was 1/4 mile back from the road, and I consider that "at her house."

I just bring this up because, as I learn how things work here @WS, I'm observing how/when we all take words literally. While words can indeed be telling, I think it's even more true that the "hugely" vast majority of people are not particularly conscious about the words they are selecting to utter. One or two threads back, I asked if we knew whose truck was towed away from RL's property, and after asking my question a couple of different ways, there was a kind answer from another Poster, that included a MSM video link. The reporter had said that RL's truck was towed. But the reporter was possibly speaking on the fly, from the scene, and I personally do not take that reporter's statement literally. I don't know that the reporter actually ran the plate and found the registration for the vehicle, or saw the vehicle title.

So I'm writing all of this to say that, as a new Sleuther, I'm sorting out how far I'm willing to go in making assumptions, and what I'm willing to base my deductions and conjectures on. Not to sound too cynical, but I just don't have confidence that taking even professionals' (LE, reporters) words too literally, is a sure bet.

And I'm really asking for opinions and advice from you experienced gumshoes out there. Where do you draw your own lines?

I still think it's that spot. I cannot find another spot near a bridge that fits that. Looking at those wires I think they are very much higher than the trees and the bridge and are simply not visible on Google earth. I gave up with tired eyes too, LOL

Glad you joined. We can all be snarky at times, especially when we are frustrated and a case has dragged on.

However, we do try to behave, and I follow many WSers that have opposing views from my own because I enjoy their intelligent debates. That to me is what makes WS so great.

So hopefully you will stick around after we find justice for these angels. I came here three years ago and never left. I've laughed and cried and puzzled over cases with some truly amazing people. There are so many verified SAR, Drs and legal analysts here as well that illuminate many cases.

No, it totally didn't answer your question, I deleted it because out of context it LOOKS like it answered your questio, but when I put it back into context I realized that I was giving misleading blocks of text.

Read what you quoted me saying again. IF the probationer is still ON probation ("violated within the probationary period") AND if the violation is filed within one year.

But we believe he's been OFF probation sice November since there are no court records clearly showing it was extended beyond that time. So that's why I deleted that part, because everyone is going to read it like you did and think it means what it doesn't, lol. My mistake for putting it out there but for sure I did delete it for a reason, and this is the reason.

Whoa.. okay I need to apologize for this post. I went and showered and whatnot and came back and was looking for my place in the thread and re-read it, and it totally comes off like I'm being mean-spirited/rude when all it read like to me at the time was neutral/matter of fact... I heard my tone of voice saying it in my head as I was writing it and knew I was "saying" it nicely, like helping a peer study for a test or something... but now reading it, it sounds like a mean old teacher lecturing: :snooty:

I'm really sorry about that. I just have a matter of fact personality and have worked years to try to reign in my emotions when they're not relevent to a situation, but it comes off harsher sometimes I think. :shame: sorry again.
