I've been reading along on since this tragedy occurred but this is my first post on this thread.Thank you to all the great minds on here and to the super photo analysts, map makers, graphics experts. I've been wondering if the image of BG was altered by LE because what was available to them from the phone was a series of poor quality images due to fumbling, trying to hide phone, nervousness, acting quickly etc, of the girls? Maybe LE tried to put together something to create a clearer image and the image released was that result? IDK, just brainstorming.

You are right, that is what LEO Slocum said they did.

I am beginning to see that we are having two conversations here.

One is in regards to what has LE done to "create" the two photos and the other is what, if anything did LE alter or erase in the blurry areas surrounding BG.

So, we have a bit of sleuthing going on in both areas I think.

For me I am enjoying the break from sleuthing RL while we wait for info from his court appearance today.

I did not ever remember that being the case (that one could not view post photos if not logged into WS), so I just logged out and tested it out, as just a random public person viewing, and I could still see the photos on this thread.

Cached possibly?

Oh yes, please do explain as I had no idea that was any such thing.

On tineye you can upload an image from your computer and it will look for matches. There may or may not be any match just like archive org doesn't always have websites crawled and documented.

I doubt it, because the site went to its normal format, which is very few posts per page (I normally have mine set to 200 per page), I had to find the thread.. and I was seeing photos that I hadn't yet seen on the thread because I'm running way behind and viewing from bottom up. So..... not sure if it can cache stuff that my computer hasn't seen before?

I'm using an iPad and I can't view them if I'm not logged in. I believe when I log out that the cookies and other data is cleared because I recall seeing the message from WS after logging out. If I just close the Safari tab and reopen a new one I can still see it because I didn't tell it to log me out. I have no idea, sorry.

And heard....
Remember when they said they heard an Irish accent from" down the hill" .....SMH lolz

And who can forget the pick up truck with two occupants wearing white t-shirts when the images where released..... That was something.
Lol

(There were a few people who saw a vehicle...everyone sees different things and is here trying to help. I do not think it's nice to call out condescendingly what some people saw as their opinions. Moo.)

Really? So you are saying that someone who is just visiting the site cannot see all the photos we post?

I have to be logged in to see photos, for me i see little blue boxes, and conversation that ?'s something in the photo/image that i then log into see. Jmo not sure about everone else.

I believe there are different ways to manage photo attachments in posts.

One way is through a WS storage area where you can manage and attach photos and I believe that may be the ones people cannot view if not logged in.

The other way is you can point to a public storage area where the photo is located and I suspect those are the ones that people can view even if not logged in. Like storing a picture in photobucket application and then pointing to it.

Just a guess as to why some people may not be able to view some of them unless they log in.

So because I can't seriously look at that damn pic one more second, what info (if any) should we expect to come out of today's hearing for RL?

And Wales.
BTW could BG have a small dog under his jacket, or in his bum bag even?
;-)

Seriously, if the crime scene can be accessed from other than RL property (across the creek was mentioned) , is that only possible by foot and whose property does that bit belong to, presuming the creek is the boundary?

(I love this, "bum bag"...it flows so nicely...I'm going to start calling them bum bags.. :) )

However, but the fact that everyone sees something different (from Puppies to snakes, to periscopes) speaks to vagueness of the image and the different devices and systems on which it's viewed.

I think the image has limited value, and the wide perceptions of what is there, speaks to that.

I'm guessing no activity on LE's twitter or any reporters?
