I wonder if he went there voluntarily or ? Also, when did he start attending?

"Down the hill" seems to be the elephant in the room. Three interviews by KN now and that phrase is conspicuously absent, not a single mention. I suspect she's banned those three words as a topic of discussion, same as her children. The closest she got was when she described DN's accent with detail, but then put the burden of identifying whether that could be his voice or not on any potential witnesses that might've encountered him on the trail and heard him speak. She knows whether that sounds like DN or not. "Down the hill" not being directly addressed by her is very telling, IMO. (I'd give her the benefit of the doubt that she doesn't want to implicate her husband but she crossed that line in the youtube interview when she said the sketch looked a lot like him and it scared her.) MOO

Speaking out extensively about the accusations for the first time, Katelyn was direct Wednesday: "I'll talk about anything but my kids."
...He also has unmistakable traits, Katelyn said, such as a limp in his walk from one leg being shorter than the other, and a southern drawl that leads him to pronounce words like "right" as "riagh," with a long "I" and indistinct "T." One or both of those things would have stood out to witnesses if they encountered him on the trail, she said.

I agree. I’m hoping, that if it is DN, whatever information KN has not been able to recall (or has not quite answered yet) suddenly comes back to her & she spills it to LE ASAP I think that rumor Stroup mentioned really shook her, so that will either help her open up, or force her underground... Waiting to hear more from her MOO

Well, the K rumor would certainly count as a twist, and a very distressing aspect...

What am I missing? Was there some clarification on why this non-msm, non-LE video was allowed? Please let me know where I can find that.

And as far as this interview being great journalism?
My opinion is different. Both interviewers were unprepared and inarticulate.

KN gives interview to Greeno.... http://youtube.com/watch?v=XrB3vjyxFsw
*This is a great interview.Answers alot of questions being asked here.
Car,rifle, hatchet, which bridge he was living under...etc..etc

Incredible interview. I liked Katelyn and thought she was very candid. I also respected her for speaking what was upon her heart and mind to those of us who are interested in the case. Wish her well.

The Greeno interview is one post above this one. It has been approved.

Thanks,
Tricia

Tricia approved it. See Post # 298

For those of you who believe the sketch is very accurate and think Daniel Nations is the one, I implore you to read this and do some research on the numerous, countless, endless research studies conducted about eyewitnesses and their ability or non ability for memory recall.. and exactly how difficult it is. This particular article throws numbers around of about 9 to 12% accuracy rates . A sketch is not a portrait, it's not a photo. and I also implore you to do some experiments on your own. Go out about town and have one of your friends interact with strangers in public and then go back and question those people and ask them to recall and describe in detail your friend.. and write it down and compare how many differences you'll see. Humans are actually not very good eyewitnesses. And I request you YouTubers to conduct some experiments . Then upload them.. let's see some results. .

(Edit to add that Greeno saw this post on SM and said he is going to conduct this experiment at Purdue and Youtube it)

You're missing the fact that Tricia ok'd it in a post directly beneath it.

That's why we are lucky to also have a video and voice of the subject in addition. We don't just have to rely on the sketch.

It’s not great “journalism “ it’s an interesting and informative interview... regardless of how inept they were.

Because they aren’t professionals they managed to get more from KN then mainstream media. It’s pretty much unedited and raw but interesting nonetheless.

Multiple witnesses is a good thing for validity of sketches. People notice different things.
Its a piece of the puzzle lole a wanted poster in the post office.
IMO a single male on a trail that was not a nature buff, walking for his health, a hunter or teens would draw extra scrutiny.

The link to Indiana according to ISP was actually based on similarities of crimes - not just the sketch.

'El Paso County Sheriff spokesman Jacque Kirby told KCNC-TV that there are “many similarities” between the cases they are investigating and the February deaths of the two teen girls in Delphi, but would not elaborate because Indiana State Police have asked them to not release other details to the public.'

IMO the sketch is also based on the video they have, they would have much more than 2 stills.

A few people have mentioned that KN hasn't discussed his voice, maybe police have said not to due to it being evidence?

That could be. Although she discussed the sketch and the pictures on the bridge. The sketch wouldn't be evidence but the pictures on the bridge could be viewed as evidence. But due to the difficulty clearly seeing facial features the BG bridge pics aren't as easily identifiable as the voice, if that makes sense. Regardless, sure seems like someone (whether KN or LE) shut that topic down.

Agree that there is a "no go" on the voice question.
IMO Its hopeful they care enough to shut down certain questions.
We do know his ex-employer said the voice could be DN, so at least his voice is not so different that it would cause her to say - no, can't be, his voice is a lot higher etc.
