I truly would luv to be wrong. I would like to think that sweet little man was snatched by a couple who wanted a baby badly. That he is presently warm, fed and sleeping peacefully.

I have twelve kids. Nine of them are girls. If one of my sons were missing, their face would be forefront in my mind... their name... everything.

I know I can't say much, but I watched the video interviews and hers disturbs me the most. She knows what happened to her little newborn baby.

I also had the impression mom knows what happened to her son. I'm on the fence whether I think it's something like SIDS or a result of being a frustrated new parent. I do think based on what happened to the fathers daughter he might have convinced mom that no one would believe it was an accident if they reported it when it happened.

Seems LE has concerns from links above. And they know more than I do. IMO.

So Wilson had marijuana on him at the time he was robbed? That makes me think he didn't stage the abduction. He had an active warrant for marijuana and he would have known LE would search and/or interview him after he reported the crime, so the last thing he'd want to do would be to make a false report while carrying more marijuana.

On the other hand, if his son was kidnapped he no doubt would have called police right away without worrying about a small amount of marijuana he might have or whether he had a warrant out.

Admitting to the marijuana might have been an attempt to sound honest. If he admits to the marijuana maybe he is telling the truth about the abduction? At least in dads mind. It think the marijuana was a ploy to sound credible.

From info/links previously posted.

Dad claims to have been pistol whipped. Why is there no physical evidence of such? Someone upthread mentioned perhaps the injury was on the back of his head. I thought about that, but why would dad say he was pistol whipped? Why not just say he was knocked out from behind? It doesn't make sense he would have such a detailed description of the alleged kidnappers but has no physical evidence on his front side of being pistol whipped. I saw nothing on his face or chest.

Yes! My thoughts exactly, could be SIDS and they panicked.

10:44 AM UPDATE
Police were concentrating their search for a missing 6-week-old baby on a wooded area on the Westside.

The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department was putting resources in to an area west of railroad track near Harding Street ramp to I 70.

Dozens of officers in bright green vests joined the search.

A mobile command unit is set up about 200 yards north of Oliver Street on a gravel access road that parallels the railroad track. The search is very overgrown. Trash and debris and weeds line the gravel access road.

One small marker flag, like those used to mark utility lines at a construction site, is visible at the tree line about 20 yards from Oliver Street, but is unclear what it represents. Police are keeping reporters and photographers at a staging site on Oliver.

I wonder if they have used cadaver dogs. Thinking back to Bianca Jones case, LE used them right away but that info wasn't released to the public until after an arrest was made.

According to the Amber Alert, Delano was kidnapped by a white man and a Hispanic woman, both in their mid- to late-20s.

It's uncommon, Borders said, for African-American infants to be snatched by Caucasians and Hispanics. It's possible but doesn't fit with more typical scenarios and likely would give police pause, Borders said.

In addition, Delano's father, Willie Wilson, who reported that his son was taken from him after he was robbed and pistol-whipped, also was involved in a child-neglect case in Ohio in 2012.

In that case, said Adams of the IMPD, a daughter Wilson had with a different woman was shaken and suffered severe brain damage but survived. The mother was convicted of child neglect and remains in prison; Wilson was not arrested but was present.

Borders said police obviously must take into account and pursue information like that, likely leading to a delay in issuance of the Amber Alert in Delano's disappearance.

Wilson also was briefly arrested after reporting the abductionon an allegation of marijuana possession. However, police consider the drug arrest unrelated to the missing-child case, Adams said, and Wilson was released from police custody about 11:30 a.m. Thursday, according to online court records.

I don't know about the cadaver dog Cubby, pictures just show lots of boots on the ground. Yesterday they were using bloodhounds, maybe today they will bring them in.

LE doesn't seem to believe the abduction story at all. I always wonder in cases like these, how someone can watch the search efforts and remain silent.

SIDS, a co-sleeping accident. I can't shake the feeling dad convinced mom they could not tell the truth...... Especially since mom mentioned something about telling the truth in a statement she made in one of the msm video's.

Along with "seeing him healthy" again. I think she leaked the truth all over that impassioned plea for his return.

So very worried for this precious baby boy.
I cringe at the thought of what may have happened to him while he was home alone with WW. He could have been just missing his mom, unable to verbalized any other way except by crying :tears:

As so many of us know, babies don't just disappear. This story isn't making any sense. I am thankful LE is putting such great effort into the search for Baby Delano.

I am praying whatever really happened comes to light - and soon. How anyone could harm him baffles and angers me.

I am anxiously awaiting updates with the rest of you here. Another heartbreaking case that just makes you wonder what the heck this world is coming to.

:candle:

:praying:

I'm really confused now. Please don't make me go on a link hunt LOL. IIRC in the case of the Daughter's abuse an earlier link stated Dad was at work when it occurred. Now links are saying Dad was present but not charged. Soooo which is it? If he was present I would like to know what his actions were during and after the horrific abuse. Speaking to the day the horror inflicted caused the brain damage. IMO I already know what Dad did as far as the prior healing abuse. He did nothing.

I just watched the video of the mom..it seems forced to me..jmo. I hope im wrong and i hope i don't make anyone here mad by my opinion but im not buying the story they are selling...Where is that precious baby...

I would think Dad would be in jail with Mom if he had any part of it.
Also, they were reporting that the daughter was killed, so their accuracy in reporting the details is not impressive.

I agree with the poster above, her saying she wants to see him healthy again, is such an odd thing to say :/.

not if she took responsibility...
if the worst case scenario happens in this case (i'm still hoping for a miracle) then it would be highly suspicious that two of his young infants had less than stellar care................he would be the common denominator.
