Few more scraps of information taken from an article in the Indianapolis Star (04/22/1984) -
- Kimberly had a history of arrests in relation to drug abuse, alcoholism, theft, disorderly conduct, trespassing and prostitution.
- According to her mother (who did not condemn her daughter's lifestyle and just wants her back), there were only two photographs of her daughter in existence, and they were taken by a man who was incarcerated in the Indiana State Penal Farm.
*Prior to the mid-1980's, the prison served inmates with only minor offenses. However, after this time, the prison was regraded as a mid-range correctional facility for felons.
- She was known to frequent a 'Bud's Truck Stop' in Indianapolis.
- Had multiple aliases, including Kim, Bad Beaver, Rosie and Rosana.
- There were rumours that she died of cancer in a hospital in Wisconsin, however this was never able to be confirmed. She was checked into several hospitals in the Indianapolis area for a number of illnesses (including advanced venereal disease), but never showed any indications of cancer.
- She often used citizen band radio to contact local drivers, and handed out business cards with her occupation listed as 'public relations'.
- She told her mother that "If you don't hear from me before or on Daddy's birthday, something's wrong". On her father's birthday that year, she was the only one of her six siblings who didn't call.
- She had previously disappeared for extended periods of time, but never for this long.
- The last time she was heard from was apparently actually 07/17/1983, when she called a friend from an Arkansas truck stop and told her she was heading back to Indiana.
- Her father and mother have passed away (she was listed as having preceded them in death), but her other five siblings including four brothers and a sister are still alive.
