Things have been so crazy around here with school starting and I haven't been able to keep up with the thread as much as I would like. I won't lie....I TOTALLY expected to come in here and see some kind of an update. I am just at a loss!! :(

I think everybody logs on thinking there will be a break in this case..............and we all leave, having just as many questions as we had when we logged on.

I think the frustration of not having any leads is affecting everyone. I just got caught up on the FB page as well and I think everyone is getting weary over there too. Bless the searchers!

How far...? what is your feeling on it?

Just thinking another state.ky perhaps. There are 3ways to go into Ky from Boonville that are about a half hr and if you hop on the interstate its only about an hr or so to Louisville. If someone ditched a car in a big place like Louisville it may be weeks before its found. They may not even be aware of her there. It took a month for them to find the Ashley girls car in Louisville and their LE was looking for it.

Maybe we will get lucky tomorrow.....................

I wish LE had something and gave us some direction to go on.My guess is they dont know much more than we do.

I dont see how. If there were a couple of perps with half a brain cell they know her car is the first thing LE would look for. Why not put some distance between the car and them?

I hope they had the manpower to call on houses/ businesses on roads that lead out of town to check surveillance tapes for her vehicle. I am also feeling she was abducted while returning for her phone. I feel the employees that night must think back if anyone/any vehicle was parked in the lot or road. Was a time given when her vehicle was spotted the second time on tape?

Not to drag the private property discussion out but LE needs to preserve evidence to be used in court. Couldn't trespassing jeopardize any future trial by the defense crying "illegal search"? We have laws for a reason. Fourth
amendment?

I am still having a hard time figuring out why a perp, especially multiple perps as has been suggested, would take her car. Much easier to grab a victim and leave car for police to wonder about. With the car gone, the search becomes much more expansive.

Hoping that LE have already extended the search for the car, if she did drive further than Boonville she could be over the ohio in ky, further north in Indiana. Or parked in any of the old commercial zones without anyone noticing it

I am not 100% sure. From the article below, it says that she was seen on tape 20 minutes after she was last seen in the bar. I had always thought that she was seen going by at 1:48 am on tape and then about 20 minutes later she was seen going by again but on a back street. I may be completely wrong though.

She seemed to be changing her mind alot that night so if she didnt go back to vfw for her phone its hard to say where she may have driven to after she left vfw. She very possibly could have driven out of town that night. She still had 5-51/2 hrs before she had to be at work. Also if she was hoping someone would show up and they didnt she may have went looking. Just speculating but this could be a case like Heather Ellis. jmo

It seems like people are posting more and more about strange happenings in the area lately. I can't decide if this sort of stuff happens all the time and we just don't hear about it, it really is unusual, or people are embellishing or it isn't quite true. In any case, someone said a guy tried to lure a woman into his car last weekend in Boonville. He asked her if she wanted a ride and then tried to get her to come closer by offering her some "cold Yahoo." Uhh... #worstpickuplineever. The cops were apparently trying to locate the guy to question him.

Also, today someone posted on another site that two guys tried to force some woman into a gray van on the east side of Evansville, near Gateway Deaconess. No confirmation, other than what the person posted.

Also, people are sharing a tidbit about a serial rapist who just was released from jail about 2 months ago in Evansville. After looking at the rap sheet, I'm surprised that guy didn't stay in jail for the rest of his life. Multiple sexual deviant charges, two rape charges, and multiple sexual battery charges. It looks like more than one incident. I won't post a direct link to his information as I'm not sure that that is allowed here, and I'm not saying he has anything at all to do with a crime or Kristy's disappearance, but it is something to think about.

Apparently the guy who is posting about it is a retired EVPD officer, who arrested him for a prior violent rape in Boonville in 1998. He said the guy is a budding serial killer and bat***** crazy. He's very concerned that the guy was recently released and claims he lives "close to one of the missing women" in the area. Then again, this retired police officer looks like a bit of a prepper and uber gun enthusiast. I'm always a little wary of people who are extremists, but in any case, the guy is definitely dangerous based on his past criminal history. It makes me so mad they let these guys out after they repeatedly commit violent crimes and only serve short sentences!

Would it have taken her 20 minutes to drive to the spot where the camera picked her up? So there is no video of the SUV returning in the direction of the VFW ?

The big problem in this case is her car not being found. Most of the cases Ive followed the victim is taken and the car left behind

It would take 5minutes or less to get to the confirmed video.
LE hasnt confirmed the one that may have been her turning by tastee freeze street about 20 min later. And if that was her where did she go for those 20 min?

Does anyone know if kristys phone was an iphone?

I know exactly who you are talking about. I have also seen information about another person that has been brought up that might need to be looked at. We can't post information about any of them though but you're right! It is something to think about opposite of Kristy being in an accident or leaving on her own accord. Honestly....Boonville has totally come together for Kristy and her family and it's amazing! BUT there are a few scary people around that area that I would have my eye on! I really want to know more about them and where they were that night. I'm just sayin'.
