Problem is that much of what we "know" comes from FB and has t be considered rumors. LE may know lots about Kristy by now but still be no closer to figuring out what happened to her or where she and her car could be. I don't believe she decided to go for a drive and ended up in whatever lake would be deep enough to conceal the car. I do think she may have gone looking for someone, or run into a person or people she knew and something went wrong from them there. It does not appear she was followed from bar, or back, if that is her car. Hard to believe nothing helpful came from her phone records. The so-called small dispute, if true, could be a huge clue, at least maybe in why she left the bar, if it was about drinking and driving, or her choice of friends, for example. Or it could be even more, if it was over a man.

Just have no idea what is going on here, but I do not think Kristy is okay.

Topcat,
Ya wanna be the one to rule things "in or out" as facts? I think you would do a good job.:)
No thank you..I'm bouncing between two cases right now (Hillary Sharma) and don't have the patience to do it  but thanks for asking

I think one of the hardest things to figure out and is very key to this case is "was that her SUV in the videos?" there has not been ,to my knowledge, a definite verification on that auto.

I totally understand...and I also apologize if it was like I <<searching for just the right icon here>> :underbus:

My current thinking is that an accident or abduction is involved here.

In the accident scenario, I'm thinking she was driving somewhere on a rural back county roads.

Since she was driving a SUV, she may have taken a dirt or gravel road. There is a possibility she went into another county along the rural back county roads.

I'm also thinking that she could have fell asleep at the wheel or she accidentally drove off of a rural back country road that she wasn't familiar with at night.

If an accident is involved, I would consider sections of any rural roadway that are next to any kind of waterways, or has any steep embankments or ravines.

In the abduction scenario, I'm thinking that she was stalked by someone who had an infatuation with her.

There could be a possibility that she had an infatuated customer or employee at her workplace, or by someone who saw her somewhere at a public place.

Only persons mentioned in the media can be referenced by name. Even then, it's best to use initials rather than full names as a common courtesy to innocent bystanders. If you're "sleuthing" people on FB, that's your business, but please do not post about it here.

Thanks.

Trying to stay within the rules here. Kristy's Indiana court records are public record, and can be viewed on Doxpop. Other individuals might be referenced within those records, that have not been mentioned publicly. To use Doxpop, you have to register for an account. The free option gives you a limited number of free searches each month. I Hope this helps, and I hope I didn't color outside of the lines here.

I am not sure on this one...I defer to those who have been here longer than I have...maybe there is a rule about this, as the possibilities are endless as to what some could "say that the family said." Maybe a mod (BESSIE?:)) can help us on this one...?~Think, Think, Think

Your facts should come only from what has been published in the media, particularly any statements from LE. You can also list as fact FB posts made by Kristy, herself.

Simply, for our intents and purposes, a "fact" is that which one can back up with a link to MSM or the MP/victim's own social media posts. Any list of facts should include those links.

Statements made by family members and close friends in social media can be considered as possible facts, but should be taken with at least a small grain of salt. But here's the deal with that. FB and other social networking profiles belonging to family and friends are off limits, so those posts can't be discussed. Their SM posts are only allowed to be linked if they appear on a public "missing" FB page.

On the FB page set up for Kristy, one flyer mentioned her phone was found in the bar's bathroom. I think this is something unusual.

Does it indicate she was not thinking clearly perhaps? Was it due to alcohol, drugs, or distraction that she left her phone behind? Do we know anything about what happened inside the bar prior to her leaving?

I haven't looked into this case yet, but the proximity and similarities with the case of Joelle Lockwood is intriguing.

going on 13 full days with no sign of Kristy...no new updates from LE...no press releases? Does anyone feel like its too quiet?

Thanks, Bessie. I removed the prior questions and etc. so that I didn't lead anyone astray on the rules, and thanks for clarifying! I don't do FB myself, but it is sometimes a very fine line with knowing what is FB and MSM at times...for me, I am just going to error on the side of extra caution.

Well the only thing LE has confirmed was tastee freeze cam with car heading W . They have stated they dont suspect foul play but they dont rule it out. That is all LE has said.

If something isnt released soon this case is going to fall off the radar soon. Media can only report so long on nothing.

If she was abducted by someone, I strongly suspect that her SUV is hidden somewhere. It is likely that her SUV could be hidden in a barn, garage, or outbuilding on private property.

I don't believe her car is hidden at a storage rental facility at all. If you go to a storage rental facility anytime during the day or night, there would be security cameras at storage rental facilities.

And if you go to a storage rental facility after hours at night, I believe you would have to use a pass key or you would have to key in your security id code in front of a security camera to gain entrance.

Clever!! I never even thought of that! I had a look, but I didn't see anything of interest at all in the information unless I missed something.

I am not feeling her car being in someone's garage, but jmo. Lots of people do not know you can refuse to let police look into your house or even your garage, but also would be paranoid that if they refused, they would become a suspect, and maybe they would.

If Jennifer H's car had not been on private property, it might have yet to be found. Kristy's car could be hidden from the road, yet not on land that is owned/checked by anyone regularly, whether she drove it there or someone else. But a garage does not feel right. Jmo

I hate to say this but think something may come to light when hunting season starts or the corn fields are harvested and the car is far far away outside the search area. I really hope I am wrong for the families sake and would like to pop on hear and find some positive news.

This has crossed my mind, too. :(
