He is now facing stalking charges and a violation of a protective order in Lake County, said Lake County Sheriff Oscar Martinez.

At around 11:20 a.m. Sunday, Eddlemon’s mother wrote on Facebook and said, “THEY FOUND HER!!!!!! Safe.” Her grandmother also wrote on Facebook 10 minutes later: “The FBI has found my granddaughter in Arkansas,” according to the Chicago Sun-Times.

Eddlemon’s mother Nichole Cain said Curry-Fishtorn was controlling, stabbed her, and left bruises.

“Everyone was on alert,” Cain told ABC7. “We just had to watch her and be with her all the time.”

Cain added that Eddemon “was scared he was going to hurt us, hurt her.”

The suspect believed to be involved in Eddlemon's disappearance, Alex Curry-Fishtorn, was also located and taken into custody without incident. He faces numerous charges related to stalking and violation of a protective order in Lake County, Martinez said.

Doesn't really matter IMO if she went willingly or forced. She's 16 and unable to consent with a 22 YO. Court order against contact. Across state lines. Glad the FBI was involved. He's in for a world of unhappiness.

Alexander Curry-Fishtorn, 22 of St. John, was found with Eddlemon and was taken into police custody in Arkansas.

The girl’s family believes she was kidnapped by Curry-Fishtorn, who they had an order of protection against because he stalked Eddlemon in the past.

Curry-Fishtorn is awaiting extradition back in to Indiana where he will likely face multiple charges.

Eddlemon's mother said after he allegedly snatched her, he took her to an unsuspecting family's home and dyed her hair black, but they don't believe she was injured.
