IF the missing Christmas video had been found, with a confrontational episode between family members of a very harsh nature, then LE would have a nail upon which to hang the orange jail suit for the striped jail cell spa ready for a wearer. Alibi's in place be hanged, IF the person having the confrontation were said to be elsewhere 'that' morning.

Consider this IF making a family video of Ramsey Christmases was a TRADITION, why was there no planning to avert NOT following the tradition in 1996? Charlie Chan was very much needed on the morning of Dec 26, 1996.

WHAT was the family tradition for John Andrew for his Christmases, sans mom and pop being together anymore. Mom and Pop had been divorced for many many years, surely there was a plan for John Andrew for past Christmases, wonder what they were before 1996?

WHY was there zero mention of John Andrew in DOI? He was definitely missing there, no doubt about that. I didn't write DOI, the Ramseys did.

I went to the JonBenet Index Guide site,which is a list of the chapters in DOI. After the name JAR there are many many pages,apparently where he is in the book. But posters are saying JAR is not mentioned at all.

I'm confused ... can some one please elaborate?

Capps, I have loaned the copy of DOI that I had. Would you please furnish a link for the Index Guide that you mention in your quote? Does it mention page numbers for specific mentions?

I personally read the book about seven years ago, and I do not recall specific mentions about JAR in DOI.

I did some searching on line just now and came up with this. If you will note it appears that the index shows just information pertaining to JAR and the timeline of investigative information.

The list of page numbers at the beginning of the index merely repeats each individual page number in the lengthy list.

I do believe that I am correct in that there were no PERSONAL recollections of JAR being a family member in the book. Nothing of what he liked to do, or personal family inter relations, such as mentioned about Burke. I recall something about Burke doing rope climbing in a class. Someone correct me if I err on that remembrance.

It was memorable to me that nothing of that nature about JAR was mentioned, correct me if I err on that. So here is the index that I found, and those of you that still have their DOI book can double check by page numbers in this index.

Maybe Camper is talking about the christmas video from the Ramsey's house on christmas day that noone has seen. I'm not sure if there even was a christmas video. I think the Ramsey's said there wasn't one, that they had forgot to charge the batteries so the camcorder wouldn't work or something along those lines.

I recall John saying that he did not want to record since the death of Beth because he just wanted to live in the moment....

But there are past Christmas videos....wonder if there are any after Beth's death.

Yes, the two snippets of Christmas video we have seen were both taken after Beth's death. Beth died in January of 1992, and the various Ramsey TV programs have shown Christmas video from 1993 (Patsy was hairless due to chemotherapy at the time, but was apparently so vain she can be seen wearing one of her longer wigs for this private family video), and the other one is from Christmas of 1994 (when Patsy's hair was just starting to grow back after her chemo was over, accounting for why it is so short compared to her usual style).

Well, what we don't know is what is hurting us! We've been told that there are things not released to the public; Schiller said himself that he didn't print but 10% of what he knew (wasn't it 10%....correct me if I am wrong). That being the case, Burke could have said most anything and we are not privvy to it.

Of course, if Burke did ask his dad that question about finding JB's body immediately after calling 911, then Patsy's statement about John coming UP from the basement would fall right in line with that. John would have come UP from the basement screaming, Patsy calls 911, Burke asks his question which gets on the 911 tape.... just thinking here about a possible timeline.

I can understand your curiosity about the Ramsey's not talking about anything personal about JAR,but then I looked under MR and it seems,except for her wedding;there wasn't much about her either.Again.I don't have the book,so I may not be correct. Could it be because JAR didn't have anything big going on in his life,and was in college,there really wasn't much else for the Ramsey's to say?

From the index pages,it does say that Burke walked Patsy down the aisle ... was there any mention of what part JAR had in the wedding?

It's probably time I order the book. I always hesitated on getting any of the books,because which ever one I got,it would be one sided to the favor of the author.
