Listening now....glad his little laughs now fit into the context of his story and aren't bothering me.......yet. I'm about 10 minutes in..... He sounds like he is very disgusted with KC at this time.

It seems like nobody in the A family can utter the name "Casey." It's always "your sister," "my sister," "your daughter," etc. They say Caylee easily, but rarely say "Casey." Or is it just me?

I'm listening to Jesse. I like this kid. Sounds very upfront, forthright, and he sure loved Caylee. Good head on his shoulders.

Hope he finds a really nice girl to settle down with when he's ready to.

Needs to learn to keep his hands further back from microphones though lol.

Lee sounds very helpful, trying to describe everything carefully, not holding back to me. I wonder if he hasn't been thru a lot with KC for years. She stole money from him ANd his best friend too.

Listening to Lee A. Much easier to listen to than to read. The gestures which were typed out as "chuckles" are not noticable at all when listening. Very riveting, sincere and clear. Even the cops seem to be listening to him tell the story without interruptions. Does not seem evasive or rehearsed. Describing the fights with Mom with emotion and realism.

Appears to be really cooperating.

Just MUCH easier to follow while listening.

Lee and KC speak very similarly. Big difference is he is speaking the truth and she just shells out lies. You can tell in this recording that he wasn't playing any games at that time.

Oh! Ok....LE went and got the cell at 11pm at TonE's. So....why did Lee go get her stuff? 2 and 1/2 hours? Ohhhhh.....Amy's 400 bucks....all in 20's. This laughing is driving me to distraction!

Lee seems so much older than his age. Isn't he just three years older than KC? That would mean he's only 25 but he just seems so "together." His vocabulary and enunciation are way above average.

I think he has played the adult "role" in that family for a long time - probably since he was little. Somebody had to be an adult and seems like nobody else was up to it. This is so tough on a kid growing up. I'm surprised he seems as normal as he does.

He's just trying to be very complete and correct in his answers - referring to his notes occaisionally. No attitude at all. It does seem like he's very emotionally distanced from "his sister." I'm sure that's necessary when you are dumping all this family dirty laundry. He seems very objective.

imhoo he is playing to what LE is dishing..... LE wants Lee to feel all chummy and like 'one of the force' and Lee is acting accordingly with matching lingo. again imhoo. He sounds to me like he is giving a change of shift report to the next set of cops coming on duty instead of an uncle who has a missing niece with death smell car, etc, etc, etc

I am having a hard time with something in the interview of Lee.
Cindy and Lee are relatively knew to the nightmare of Caylee being missing, no arrest yet or anything, Casey's in a room with Lee. Cindy enters ...

How they get from Cindy asking Casey, "What have you done"

to Cindy asking Casey, "Who took her?"

without stories and explanations to swing Cindy and Lee from 1 thought process off in another direction.

I am really puzzled by this in Lee's accounting still.

It is like we go from point A to point C but we are not privvy to whatever is point B.

Very much agree.

He sounds sincere and forthright. No reaching for answers, he just answers, no hesitation.

The chuckles aren't nearly as bad to listen to as they were to read. They don't strike me as bizarre like they did when I was reading.

Maybe LA & KC learned to say "absolutely", "definitely" and "uh-huh" before MAMA and DADA. I bet it will be in that same annoying tone. Not sure if I can handle it in audio...

I just started to listen to LA interview and TIA! KC & LA sound exactly alike!
I am 5minutes into it and am now turning it off!
