Iowan fired for using forklift on candy machine

MILFORD, Iowa (AP) — An Iowa man has lost his job and unemployment benefits for using a forklift to get a candy bar from a malfunctioning vending machine, state records say....

I'm not sure about this. If this is his only infraction then make him pay for the machine, at most. I have a feeling though that this alone isn't why he lost his job.
