Is Casey the real Zenaida?

If this true, then I got jipped. My license was issued in July of 04 and it expires November, 2010. Unless, something has changed since my issue date.

I am still looking for an online version of the FL Driver License Handbook for 2003. I did find one from 2000 that states, in part:

Renewal at a Driver License Office

Before you renew your license, your driving record is checked. If you have had no convictions for driving violations in the past three years, or suspension/revocation/disqualification free record for the past seven years, you will be issued a six-year license. You may also be asked to take other parts of the test if:
  1. <LI class=content>The examiner has a reason to question your driving skill.
  2. Your license may not be renewed if:
    1. <LI class=content>You are not qualified to receive a license.
    2. You did not answer a summons, which involved a traffic violation.
    3. Your driver license is suspended or revoked or canceled.

I do not know when the law changed to the current 10-year license.

If the above is correct, and ZG22's license was expired, then ZG22's license had to have been issued prior to May 24, 1997, unless she had received previous traffic violations, as noted above.

Yes, and I would love to see the actual citation. It would have time, make of car, tag number, location, etc. But that's something we'll have to wait to play out I guess.

Isn't the citation public record if you know the number?

I'm just thinking about those payments made to the ZG traffic misdemeanor. If someone paid by CC - wouldn't there be a service/processing fee? Would that show on the pymt record? I prolly need to take a break for awhile. I'm really having a hard time digesting and processing everything I've read here today!!

There is a $3.99 fee, but I don't know if it would show up on the Florida payment record or not.

BTW I pay our GA car registrations on line and that $4.95 fee is not included in the "Total Fees Paid" line on the receipt. (I just looked that up and was surprised. Kinda amazing what you learn on WS) ;)

Does anyone else think that perhaps CA helped KC with the Zenaida cover-up on July 16? I recall Cindy saying she and Casey were on the computer that morning setting up pages for Caylee.

You know that was kind of a red flag to me in Lee's deposition. He said he was busy setting up the Find Caylee web site.

I just went on the Orange County site and put in the citation #s I found on another forum and it gives lots of info on when payments were made and stuff but not the time, or vehicle type.

I would love to be able to see a copy of the actual citation, I'm sure they include that info.

Your sleuthing is absolutely fab! What does it mean that the birthdate on myspace "rolled over"? After Blink published her theory on KC and AD riding in the car with KC driving, I looked into it and that theory didn't pan out. AD would only have received the specific code violation she received if, in fact, she had been the one driving without the seatbelt on.
That's funny... a couple of years ago two co-workers of mine were driving by Universal Studios, got pulled over for "going a little too fast" but the passenger kinda said something smart alecky to the cop and HE ended up with a ticket for not wearing his seat belt but the driver just got a warning. Boy, were we laughing about it when we heard it at work the next day.

ps- I'm a newbie here and went straight to the duct tape evidence because I've used so much of the stuff here in Orlando and have NEVER seen duct tape with the logo printed on the SURFACE of the tape as is the case with the piece from the remains and the piece on the gas can. So I'm all talked out about the commonality of a certain tape and I was about to go do something else when I thought I'd just click on this KS/ZG thread and WOW. You guys are onto something. I mean, I thought about KS's imaginary friend or Sybill thing but man, you guys are laying it all out. She is SO screwed. Yesterday I still didn't think it was pre-meditated but now I do. Thanks y'all.

What is the citation number?

Looks like it varies somewhat after checking the handbook. There may also be some special circumstances in my case, because they misspelled my last name (even though it's correct on my Passport) and I had to get it corrected.

This section has changed effective October 1, 2008. Click here to see the notice from the Florida DHSMV.

Renewing Your Driver License
Driver licenses are valid for four or six years. Before you renew your license, your driving record is checked. Original (first time) and renewal applicants, who have a conviction-free record for the past three years and no suspensions or revocations for the past seven years, will be issued a "Safe Driver" six-year license. Expiration dates may vary for license renewals issued to non-immigrants.

No, not that I know of. The actual written citation is not available online. Just the "cliff notes" in electronic form on the system. Which basically include the charge and the person being charged.

Yes, he did. I wondered if perhaps Casey just "happened to find" Zenaida to show her mom.
Then I thought, nah...
I deleted my comment, because quite frankly, I'm having a spell of osmosis.

For those on Iamliar, osmosis is like mental stasis. Unfortunately, it does not stop the fingers on the keyboard...

I just checked mine out too (I'm a Florida resident). It's valid for 6 years.

Just a side note. This is funny actually. I have an older sister who is a very safe driver who has never had a ticket. Because of this, Florida allows her to renew her DL through the mail. I kid you not...the woman will be 49 this year, but the pic on her license is still the one that was taken when she was 30 years old! Now please! With all the strict laws FL has on DL's - this is one area they seemed to have over looked! My sis has the big 80's doo and everything in that pic - doesn't even look like the same person!

Isn't the purpose of giving a fake name when you get a ticket so you don't have to pay the ticket? Why would she give a fake name and then go to court on it and then pay on it?

Now I'm a bit more confused, because this is from the 2009 handbook yet the link to the October 1, 2008 notice says:

2008 Driver License Handbook Insert
Term Changes (Pages 10 and 11):
For U.S. Citizens and Immigrants with Permanent Legal Presence
• Class E driver licenses for customers under age 80 will be valid for 8 years. Class E licenses for
customers 80 and older will be valid for 6 years.

Sounds like your mileage will vary...

Does anyone remember when LE showed several pics to the people at Sawgrass apts to see if they could identify KC? Only one picture was picked out but LE said they were all the same person. I think this may be related to all this but I can't remember where to find the information about it.

I guess it varies from county to county. If she were have gotten this ticket in my county - we'd have a LOT more info to go on dang it (as I stated earlier). Our court records even give the goods on the make/model/year/color and whether or not you were driving a two door or a four door.

I asked this before but didn't get an answer. Where was this alledged accident that KC claimed she and ZG got in? Was it in Orlando or was it in Tampa? I can't remember!

Or on the cellphone keypad. Iamliarants are an amazing species in many ways. ;)

I moved to NY 14 years ago and I still use the same photo. And I go in the DMV.
