Leah is JLo's Scientology buddy (monitor) for her pregnancy and (silent) delivery. They (Scientologists) prefer natural delivery so I would assume JLo did it the old fashioned way (no C-section). JLo is a "new" Scientologist (assume Marc A is too) and like Katie Holmes when she was just a "beginner" Scientologist, Marc and JLo must have a "minder" with them (especially pregnant JLo) almost all the time. Leah Remini is JLo's new Scientologist "shadow".
I find it rather "cult-like" myself....

LOL, thats a good one. I don't know how anyone can have a silent birth with no pain medication. I was screaming my head off like there was no tomorrow and swearing I would not deliver this baby without an epidural but it was too late as her head was right there so I had to scream through it.

Yeah Katie has graduated to being alone in public now - BUT JLo has her own "minder" now. Guess a year ago she WASN'T a "Scientologist" and was still "all Catholic" but in the last 6 months she and Marc have had a "Scientolo-minder" with them everywhere and JLo's new BFF is long time "Theta Clear Scientologist" Leah Remini - who wasn't even a casual aquaintance of JLo (or Marc) 10 mos ago. Rumors have been thick and heavy that JLo has become Scientologist since her pregnancy and she and Marc HAVE been spending a lot of time with the Famous Scientology Parents crowd - including her baby shower guests Will and Jada Smith and Katie and Tom Cruise...can the most famous Scientolo-Moms Priscilla and Lisa Marie Presley be far behind?

They have some very famous members - and while they can dress it up with celebrities all they want - it's still a CULT!

You do know that like Katie Holmes says she is - you can be Catholic AND Scientologist at the same time!

That article is a year old (Jan 2007) and was written before she got pregnant. Google JLo and Scientology - word on the "street" is that she has embraced Scientology with her pregnancy. She and Leah Remini didn't even KNOW each other a year ago and now Leah is at the BIRTH??? It's total Scientology - just like Katie Holmes - there is no other reason Leah Remini would be "attending" JLo at the birth if JLo hadn't wanted a "Scientology Birth". Leah Remini has been attached at the hip to JLo for at least 6 months and JLo and Marc are socializing almost exclusively with the Scientology crowd now.

It's not a secret and JLo doesn't deny Scientology any more - she just doesn't comment on it.
